I had a very good experience in this hotel, the personnel was very helpful and nice, the food was great and the surroundings are very charming since it is located in a olive-tree park. I recommend this hotel both for business and for leisure. The only thing (for which I can't blame the hotel itself...) is that Lima during the...

On arrival, I was impressed with the convenient location. A variety of great restaurants are nearby and proximity to much of the business and financial district is a plus. Set amidst a combination of nice homes, small businesses, and a lovely olive garden, El Olivar is nested in what feels like a suburban community. A historical ruin is only a...

I stayed in this hotel in March and the elevator fell 5 floors with me inside!!! It was horrible, I felt I was going to die. I had horrible headaches because of the fall and went to the hospital 3 times. They did not even call me saying they were sorry about what happened!! Had the worst 60 days of...

When a hotel chain is doing things right, the result is Hotel El Olivar: efficient, comfortable, helpful staff, modern facilities, ample and tasty breakfast. It's nice in that way you almost don't notice it's nice. About the only knock on the hotel is that it has an impersonal, conference-facility feel to it. The long, narrow park across the street, with...

Big room, comfortable bed and range of pillows. Nice amenities, Maid service very good, room was always spotless (but even though I was trying to reduce water usage by not having my towels and linen's changed too often, this was ignored) . Front desk staff and concierge helpful, although the front desk staff did seem too busy sometimes. Good Pisco...

This hotel has 2 main attractions: 1) Service and 2) Restaurant. People are really kind to attend your needs. Restaurant employees are not only nice but also very professional. You must try: “sopa criolla”; “Lomo saltado”; “tiraditos”. I forgot a third attraction: very nice location in front of the nice park El Olivar...nice to walk at any time…
