Stayed here for 7 nights when we first arrived in Peru. Lovely! A beautiful little garden oasis in the middle of a concrete jungle. Filled with flowers and foliage that are carefully tended. Room was good. Very clean, comfortable bed, good shower, no problems with wifi. Good reading lights - always important to us!! Staff members were all very friendly...

A cute and quaint open-air hotel in easily accessible Miraflores for a great value! Our room (#5) even had its own patio! Within walking distance of many restaurants and the coast. Easy access to downtown Lima via the Metropolitano bus (hotel even provided us with access card so we only had to pay for our fares). Front desk is staffed...

Miraflores is one of the most popular neighbourhoods in Lima for accommodation between tourists. Some of the hotels are just tall buildings with standard looking rooms that could be in any other city of the world, others are beautiful ones with prices only at the reach of few. Hostal el patio is the exception. It has a patio in the...

Room was comfortable, with private bathroom, basic appliances, tv. Clean, quiet, and safe area. No a/c. Breakfast included. Quaint and picturesque courtyard. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Easy walking distance to markets, shops in Mira Flores. Plenty of restaurants in the area.

Two stays at Hostal El Patio bracketed my trip to Peru in May and June, 2016. During both stays my appreciation of and happiness with El Patio grew, even until the farewell moment. I arrived in Lima late at night. One of El Patio's trustworthy and friendly drivers, Atilo, took me from Jorge Chavez to the Hostal. I checked in...

The good: Excellent central and safe Miraflores location, about 3 minutes walk to Ave. Larco. Breakfast was decent and plentiful, though a bit boring, i.e., rolls, fresh juice, alternating days of fresh fruit and lunchmeat with cheese. Very nice staff. The bad: Checked in on 06 Sept. 2016, after a long series of flights from NE USA. Room 16 was...

Dear Sir, we apologize for all the problems you had the first two nights, fortunately we moved you to a different room for the next and last three nights, which seems to be way better than the previous one, due to absence of comments about it. We thought we could fix the lack of hot water, but the problem was...

Stayed in the hotel twice on our Perú's trip. Was really surprised how nice it is, specially the patio with all of those plants and flowers. rooms are big and comfortable, hotel is an old well maintained house, it's close to many chops and restaurants in the middle of Miraflores. Service and people were good . Highly recommended.

I have stayed here two years in a row. I find it to be in an excellent location in Miraflores and perfect for a single traveler. I have had a small kitchenette on both occasions and have found it very convenient to have a small fridge and microwave for cold drinks or for a cup of tea. The staff is...

The beds were very old, sagged in the middle and squeaky bed springs. But the absolutely worst part....the bed bugs. Bites all over my ankles and up my legs. Breakfast was minimal, too. Location was central but construction on the street made sleep impossible.

Dear Sir, thanks for writing. We have already answered the same allegations to other member of your crew, which is, and I am sorry to mention it again, impossible to believe, due to its inconsistency. Your condescension is obvious and we understand it, we share the idea of being loyal in every way, so please let us recommend you to...

After all the moving around, I was hoping for a nicer hotel for our last destination. But our TA booked us here, doable and functional. I do not know the price but the garden made all the difference on the ambiance. Other than that, for a budget, this will do. It is walking distance from everywhere. However, some of us...

Dear guest, we are deeply sorry this hotel was not nicer as you sure deserve. We know you were expecting an elevator and a few other things, but your TA did know we do not have it. Now, regarding the comment about bug bites, which is our biggest concern, your TA sent us an email saying "all of you (17...
