Location: The hotel has an excellent and safe location, right at the site of the historic adobe pyramid “Huaca Pucllana”. It is 15-30 minutes by walk to Parque Kennedy and the Larcomar Shopping Center along the Pacific Ocean. Supermarket, restaurants and taxi stand are handily nearby. Room: Our guest room was clean, but offered very basic comfort. It had two...

The area offers a lot amenities, especially Wongs supermarket and a big bank and secure/guarded ATM. American chain restaurants nearby did not add appeal for us. The area is bustling with cars, wide avenues, uninteresting buildings and shops. We asked hotel staff for advice on where to walk in Miraflores and were directed to a street just past Wongs and...

We were given a very nice room on third floor. It had a small refridgerator and a microwave. They furnish little bars of soap but no shampoo. The people who work at the desk are most acommodating. Super nice and out to please. Only problem was, they spoke very little English. One of the nicest thing about the location of...

A simple & quiet hotel to stay in far away from home. Located in heart of Lima: Miraflores, adjacent to BBVA Continental Bank and Wong Super-market just 1 block where you can get almost everything for daily life. Not only the super-market, other famous chain restaurants are just 1-2 blocks away. The entrance of the hotel is small like a...

This hotel is well located, as a lot of other reviewers have said, reasonably priced and the rooms are very comfortable. Just be warned that the staff do not speak English (but they interpreted my miming pretty well) and there is NO HEATING! This seems to be par for the course in Lima, so if you come in winter, like...

Gran Hotel Betsy is a fantastic "Home Base" if you are in Lima, Peru. Location is excellent with Indian Market a 20 minute walk and a good selection of resturants nearby. Staff is at your service and very helpful. Price is right. Check out Gran Hotel Betsy.

This hotel is located in a great spot. One block from Wong (one of the biggest supermarket chains in Lima), Maria Reina Church (Catholic), Cineplanet (8 movies simulataneously), restaurants, Starbucks, Fridays, La Lucha (great peruvian type sandwiches), Pinkberry, juice cafe...you name it you have it. Due to this perks, my uncle and aunt coming from New York booked a room...

Stayed here for six days after arriving in Lima early in January. The location on Avenida Santa Cruz in the middle of the lovely suburb of Miraflores was ideal. It was a short 3 block walk to the Pacific Ocean ( not much of a beach) and a short walk to an ancient ruin right in the heart of Miraflores....

The above says it all really. I LOVED the location - it is next door to the second best supermarket in Peru and the hotel has a fridge which allows you to take advantage of all of the lovely stuff in there. Yum. It is also 15-20 minutes walk in to Miraflores which is lovely and packed full of good...
