Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a treat to stay here after a long trek in the mountains. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. In the heart of Ollantaytambo so easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Only stayed here one night but wish it was more. Manager was very accommodating and gracious.

This place is like a 5 min walk from the plaza. It's a pleasant walk thru the old Incan stone alleys. We booked one room for 4 (family) but he gave us 2 rooms one with a huge King and another with 2 twins. There's a small terrace outside our room where you can sit and see mountains or dry clothes. This is guesthouse and not a hotel. It's very friendly and breakfast was very good with eggs only on one day. The rooms inside the main building looked nice and quaint. Overall a great stay in this place.

We loved our stay at Parwa! The host was so helpful and our room was beautiful! (Room 4 king). The town is lovely and you are really missing out if you don’t stay here at least 2 nights (we stayed three nights and it was perfect). The town is so beautiful with archeological sites up in the hills surrounding the town. We were in awe the entire time and we normally aren’t really into things like this. We could even see some sites from our room. The guest house is so close to the main square but far enough away to be quiet. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I cannot recommend it enough!!

The owner of this guest house Jorge is welcoming and creates a fabulous vibe. The beds are incredibly comfortable. The rooms clean. Great views from the patio and garden. Peaceful, tranquil environment. I highly recommend this guest house. Stay for a few nights - this is a lovely town and well worth your time to explore and chill.

What an amazing find in Ollantaytambo! Located down a quiet cobblestone lane less than a 10 minute walk to the ruins, plaza, restaurants and shops. Breakfast was simple but plenty of food for us to start the day with. Jorge is the best host! He treated us as long time friends and was just the friendliest ever and had many recommendations for us. We stayed 2 nights that were split by our Inca trail hike. We were able to just leave our bags in our room and let ourselves back in when we returned. Super easy! He was very flexible again with our checkout as we were doing the Pacamancha lunch nearby and needed our bags stored so we could explore the ruins that morning. We loved the quaintness of Parwa, I would describe it more like a bed and breakfast, and would definitely recommend staying here!

Amazing stay! Just a walking distance from everything needed and great views! Jorge was first class. Provided me with a schedule for my week as soon as I arrived and gave me options of places to eat and activities as well. Clean, comfy and a definite recommended stay. Could not have had a better visit to Ollantaytambo!

We absolutely loved our stay at Parwa Guesthouse. As others have said, Jorge is an absolute gem, he made us feel at home! We originally booked a twin room as we wanted a room with a bit more space, but when we arrived Jorge offered us a larger room with a king size bed and gave us a slightly discounted rate which was much appreciated, we were happy to change to this room as it was so spacious and had the most comfortable bed! The breakfast was really good too, nice fresh fruit, juice, cereal, eggs and coffee. Served in a comfortable dining area. Also there is hot water available all day if you want to make yourself tea. The location is really good, close to the square, but far enough away so it is not noisy. Another important aspect is there is plenty of hot water for showering, I know this can be an issue in hotels in Peru, but definitely not here. We had a little difficulty logging into the wifi, but I think I was typing in the wrong password as eventually it worked fine. We are so glad we chose Parwa Guesthouse and would highly recommend to anyone who is considering staying here, you will not be sorry!

We had a great stay. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Wifi is provided. We enjoyed the provided breakfast each morning of our 4 day stay. Place is quiet except for the neighborhood dogs at night. But that would be the same at any hotel stay in the area. Location is near the town city for dining and a short walk to the train to Macchu Picchu. We enjoyed a number of hikes in the area, walking directly from the hotel.

We stayed at Hotel Parwa for several nights. The accommodation is very well located, quiet and very clean. We met Mauricio through the hotel, who is an official guide and organized wonderful tours for us. He tells the history of the Incas without getting bored.

The proprietor was very sweet. He ran down the steep steps to help us with our baggage. When it turned out that we couldn’t stay for the second night of our commitment, he only charged us for one night. The place itself, including the rooms – we saw several – had a certain amount of charm. It's not too far from the Plaza de Armas and the archeological site entrance.
