Hotel Tierra Inka in Ollantaytambo is the best hotel we have stayed at in Peru. Very beautiful property, super clean and the owner itself is very hospitable and took good care of our group of 4. It has been such a pleasant experience since Day 1, and breakfast was delicious and very well presented. I highly recommend if you need to stay in the Sacred Valley area. It is away from all the noise and a nice 10 min walk from the main plaza.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Wonderful hotel! Love supporting family-run businesses. A short walk to the main square and a short ride via mototaxi to the train station (the host can call one for you). The property is clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. We spent the evening outside relaxing in the beautiful weather and enjoyed a yummy breakfast the next morning (included) before heading out to Machu Picchu. Would definitely recommend and stay there again!

Alex was an excellent host, his family pretty much takes care of the hotel and the property has an 8 million dollar view. He made sure our room was clean, he brought our laundry to the door and made sure we had an excellent breakfast and made sure we were able to get to all our excursions. Honestly I don't know if there is a better place to stay in this location.

My husband and I stayed at Tierra Inka for one night in Ollantaytambo after a full day sacred valley tour, followed by a hike on the Inca trail. It was the perfect respite for us to not have to travel back to Cusco to get on the Inca Trail. Clean rooms, hot water, wifi, TV, BEAUTIFUL garden with Mountain Views; everything we needed. We really loved that it was a family run small business. While the woman managing at the time (whose name is slipping my mind, Leonora? ) could not speak English well, she was extremely kind and hospitable. She even woke up at 445am to make us breakfast since we had a very early train to KM104 for our hike. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to Ollantaytamo station which can be easily walked or you can have them call a moto for you. The area is very safe which was confirmed by our tour guide. Would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Ollantaytambo.

The hospitality we were shown from the moment of our arrival will never be forgotten. Alex and his family are so extremely kind. We arrived by taxi, and I rushed in to see if I could get change so I could tip our taxi driver. Alex didn’t have change, but just loaned me $20 soles. The property is in a quiet area only about a 5 to 7 min walk to the market and archeological site. Everything in the hotel is well thought out and extremely high end, from the modern bathroom, Samsung tvs, and fancy Kitchenaid automatic toaster that I was amused with. The room was colourful and the bed very comfortable with ample blankets, we were definitely not cold. The little restaurant for breakfast had a lovely view of the courtyard and the best variety of food out of all the places we stayed over 3 weeks in Peru. We were also able to store our bags in their locked office after check out so we could explore for the day. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Nestled amidst the awe-inspiring beauty of the Sacred Valley in Ollantaytambo, Tierra Inka Sacred Valley offers a lovely retreat that transcends mere accommodation. From the moment you arrive, you're enveloped in a sense of serenity and connection to the surrounding landscape. The attention to customers, from accommodations to service, ensures a truly unforgettable experience.
But perhaps the most remarkable aspect of Tierra Inka Sacred Valley is the genuine warmth and hospitality of the staff. From the moment you arrive until the moment you reluctantly depart, you're treated like family.

The hotel is in a quiet area with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the Ollantaytambo ruins. Our room was well designed, tidy, cozy, and the bathroom is clean and have hot water. The wi-fi was spotty but we did not mind at all as we are more focused on being in the moment and able to disconnect for a bit. It's walking distance from the ruins, and great restaurants. The rail and the collectivo stations are about 5-10 mins by tuk tuk but also walkable and may take about 20 mins.

Alex Teran was an amazing host. From the start, we were welcomed with genuine hospitality. Alex and his family ensured that our stay was perfect, they're helpful and accommodating with our questions throughout our stay.

Highly highly recommend this hotel! We'll definitely stay here again.

Thank you Alex for an amazing stay! Charlie and I wish you continued success!

Very beautiful hotel with "yoga retreat" vibes. It has an excellent view of the sacred sites right from the garden outside your rooms. The staff is very welcoming and hospitable, they helped us arrange some excursions and provided great recommendations. Included breakfast is a plus as well. While it is a few minutes outside of the centre core, it is very easy to walk there in about 10 minutes.

My husband and I loved our stay here even thought it was one night. Short walk to the city center but the host can also call a Mototaxi yo pick you up. The shower was decent and the room was clean. Breakfast was great too.

Clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel is walking distance to Plaza de Armas de Ollantaytambo. Staff is friendly and helpful - provided great recommendations for places to eat and things to do in Ollantaytambo.

Breakfast was included. The hotel owner always greeted us when we returned to the hotel to ask about our day and to ask if we need anything.

How far to walk to train station please. Also, is it quiet location? Thankyou.

It is a very quiet and peaceful location. We only walked until the center of the town to have dinner at night and it took us less than 10 minutes to get there, so not too far. But we did not walk to the train station, so I'm not sure how long it takes
