Our house has few rooms, which makes it cozy, and with a feeling of being at home, the street also runs a water channel, which gives a sense of peace and tranquility. From the top floor we have a beautiful view of the ruins and everything around it. Ideal to relax and enjoy the scenery.

The amazing hospitality started before we even arrived. We were suppose to land in Cusco and head straight there but a stike prevented us from getting out. They found us a hotel until we could get of of Cusco and took care of everything so we didn't have to worry.

Kamma Guest House has an amazing view of Ollantaytambo ruins and the town, clean rooms and the level of hospitality was above and beyond in our extensive travels. The hostesses were wonderful and you can tell they love what they do.

If you plan on visiting Machu Picchu, stay here for a far better experience. The ruins of Ollantaytambo are not to be missed.

The location is a short walk off the square, and the lanes are to small for taxis, but they will meet you there to help with luggage, and will use a small cart if needed. The ladies running the inn were extremely helpful and friendly, and we loved getting to know them a bit as well. I will be visiting again soon, because one night was not enough time to explore Ollantaytambo and we will stay at Kamma again. Fresh juice with breakfast was excellent, and they worked with my gluten free diet on the fly without an issue. The view was amazing! (see pictures) Thank you Liz and Paula!! See you soon.

We can't say enough about our stay at the Kamma Guest House. The hosts, Paola and Liz were outstanding. They couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was both comfortable and memorable. They guest house itself is small with only around 6 rooms but very comfortable. Great beds for a good night's sleep. The sound of the water running in the small canals outside the windows just added the right touch. They provide a healthy breakfast every morning which is included in the price. Eggs can be cooked to order. The location can't be beat. Located justacross the street from the famous Inca Graneries, the roof top breakfast room provides an amazing view of the surrounding area. If you are looking for a great place to stay during your visit to Ollantaytambo, we highly recommed you check out the Kamma Guest house. You won't regret it.

This is a really nice small hotel with an incredible location in the original Inka town. What a comfortable ambiance. It is located beside the Pinkuylluna trail - in fact our window opened right above the entrance. The natural water from the town’s aqueducts provides a great sleeping sound.

The rooms are small and freshly renovated. The bedding is very comfortable and the bathroom is inviting with a rainshower. It has everything you want and feels like an Inkan house with modern conveniences.

The terrace overlooking the town has chairs for resting and soaking in the panorama of the Ollantaytambo. Ollantaytambo ruins, a massive Inca fortress with large stone terraces on a hillside. The terrace has a small enclosed dining area for breakfast. It is a stunning view and as far as I could see, the only place in town to get his type of view from the top of the building.

If we could go back and spend a week at any of the places we stayed at in Peru, it would be this lovely hotel. We were in touch with Liz two years prior to our actual travel date as covid forced us to reschedule the trip multiple times. She was always helpful and patient. I was suffering from the altitude change when we arrived and she took great care of me. The rooms are neat and tidy with hot showers. The upstairs deck has a great view and comfortable seating outside and inside if it's chilly. Water rushes down the street (part of the town's original infrastructure) and provides soothing white noise. This hotel could be a base for your Sacred Valley adventures or just relax here for a few days and enjoy the view and exceptional hospitality.

I absolutely loved this place. I, a solo female traveler, arrived there battling a combination of altitude sickness and an upper respiratory infection, and Liz and Paola bent over backwards to take care of me. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good and the view from the rooftop terrace is spectacular. The guest house is conveniently located just a couple blocks from the main square which has good cafes and restaurants. Also, Liz and Paola just adopted a very cute dog. What more could you want?

What a wonderful place this was! Liz and Paola welcomed us as family and took such good care of us the entire time we stayed. They were always there to help us with anything we needed and recommendations and help with transportation. The location is perfect - very close to the square. Breakfast is served on the rooftop veranda and it was delicious and felt like we were at home.

Kamma guest house deserves 10 stars but I can only give five stars…
Everything was excellent. Communication before arrival was easy and smooth. Liz and Paula helped with rides to all historical sites of the Sacred Valley. Due to a missed flight our plans changed and they were happy to change our ride for no extra cost. Check in was flawless with a friendly welcome from Liz and Paula who met us at the Plaza de Armas and helped with the luggage.
Rooms a comfortable and spotless.
Breakfast is on the terrace with a breathtaking views of the town and surrounding mountains.
The only regret I have is that I can’t stay for another day or two.

I stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed my stay. I was greeted by Paola who oriented me to the hotel and room. She gave me a map of the town, recommendations on food places, and advice on when to leave for the train to Machu Picchu. There was one time when I got lost looking for a restaurant and she walked me all the way there. She was so kind and went above and beyond to make my stay there comfortable. I had the best sleep there too.

The rooms are very clean, bed comfortable, has a blow dryer, and a cute small balcony to the fresh mountain air. Breakfast was really good too and the homemade yogurt was the best I've ever had and this is from someone that normally doesn't like yogurt!

I also want to thank Liz who was very patient and so helpful during the booking process. She is one of the main reasons I chose this place. She's very quick to respond to any questions and very polite during the email exchanges. I really miss staying there!

I highly recommend this place if you are ever staying in Ollantaytambo.

Wonderful place to stay. Liz and Paola are fabulous hosts who can’t do enough for you. Rooms cosy and clean and breakfast is gorgeous. Roof terrace overlooking the ruins is spectacular, especially at night. From the minute we booked, Liz helped with questions and arrangements. It was the perfect place to stay. I was ill one evening and Liz went above and beyond, going to the pharmacy and giving me her number in case I needed anything in the night. I was so grateful.
If you’re lucky enough to stay here you’ll have a wonderful time!

Don’t think so. The Guest house is away from the road. Email them. They are really helpful. Just putting a thought out there. The Guest house recommended Hugo, a taxi driver, to collect us from Cusco. Thereafter we used him for tours. He is a really super guy. He speaks limited English, but is a really helpful, & thoughtful. He is a careful driver. The driving is pretty nerve wracking in Peru in general.

You can email Liz directly at kammaguesthouse at gmail (not allowed to included the proper email address. She arranged transport for us - I think around $40US. There was a driver waiting for us at the airport (very early in the morning) holding a sign with our name on it. It is about a 2 hour drive from the airport to Ollantaytambo. The driver then walked us to our hotel and also helped us with our bags. It was money very well spent. Liz is also very helpful with any other questions that you may have. I emailed her several times before our trip with many questions and she always replied within a days time. Enjoy your trip! It really is a trip of a lifetime!
