I would recommend Tambua Sands for anyone wanting a relaxed and authentic stay on the Coral Coast away from crowds. Reading other reviews, I was not expecting 5-star amenities at Tambua, so was not disappointed. Our room was very basic, but it was enough for our needs. The beds

Hello can you tell me if this place is near the Outrigger please
Hi, yes it is around 15mins max by car We stayed at Tambua Sands - perfect - and other family members stayed at The Outrigger, renting a car from a local rental guy made it a lot easier and more affordable than getting taxis. Cheers

Food at the resort is very good and is usually between $20 - $30 Fijian dollars. Cocktails are around $20 and beers $10 or so. Depends what activities you’re after. We went snorkeling at a marine park nearby which was $65 Fijian, but other day trips to Cannibal Cave, etc. can be around $150+ Fijian
