We stayed at the Roger Hotel for 2 nights in November of 2023. The hotel was very nice, comfortable, roomy, and clean. The staff were friendly and polite. The hotel was convenient to the center of Tirana and we felt safe walking about. We would definitely recommend the Rogner Hotel if traveling to Tirana!

I love Hotel Rogner and I have been there many times in my short business trips to Albania. The location is superb really central and all the staff of Rogner there are a joy. They are friendly, professional and very very efficient. And the waiters really write down every order. All staff are always with a smile, I believe they combine intentionally the best of Albanian hospitality and Austrian tourism management. AND the breakfast is the best breakfast of all 5-star hotels in Tirana. In a country such as Albania where citrus grows everywhere is more than normal to get fresh orange juice in the morning. But only in Rogner do you get it and you don't pay for it. And you also get Sekt/Sparkling wine for breakfast also for a good start in the Albanian day. 😂 As I said Albanian hospitality and Austrian tourism proposition. Prost! 🥂 …

Nice hotel, walking distance to city center. Staff were nice. The room is decent size, but the wall was thin, so we can hear the neighbors talking or their TV sounds. The room has a balcony that faces the courtyard. It was very nice to be able to get some fresh air and just sit around there. Breakfast was buffet style and pretty good. My only complaint was that the room was so hot, we couldn't control the thermostat so we have to sleep with the door open to the balcony.

We cannot recommend this hotel. Our stay was definitely less than satisfactory. We arrived on Monday 16 October at approximately 16:00 in the afternoon. As it turns-out, because of a European Union (EU) meeting being held in the building next to the hotel, all roads leading to the hotel were blocked by police barricades. When we tried to explain to the police we were staying at the Rogner Hotel we were told to try the next checkpoint. None of the police at the checkpoints allowed us access to the hotel in our vehicle. We had not been notified of the security situation by the hotel prior to our arrival and had no idea what to do. We received an e-mail from the hotel earlier that day confirming our stay but not mentioning the security situation. Several times while trying to access the hotel, we called the hotel phone number they had provided. The calls never were put through to the hotel. We also tried to text but did not receive any response from the hotel. After about two hours, we parked our vehicle in a private garage and walked to the hotel again being told by the police that we could not pass through the barricades. Finally, we entered the hotel via the back entrance which we learned about from a considerate police officer at one of the barricades. The front desk staff did not seem to appreciate or care about how difficult this experience had been. When asked why we hadn't been contacted about the security situation the answer was they had limited notice and "had spent all day contacting the hotel guests, even making arrangements to pick up guests and drive them to the hotel". Apparently, despite having a reservation made months earlier via the hotel website, we were not regarded as actual guests. One of the staff at the front desk indicated that a manager would contact us. We were never contacted by any manager during our three-night stay. It was also apparent from the formal signs posted in the elevators that the hotel was aware of this EU meeting at least as early as Sunday night We understand that important meetings occur in national capitals and security measures must be taken. But we do not understand why the hotel didn't contact us earlier that day so we could better plan how to access the hotel. We never received an apology, explanation or offer of compensation for the private parking garage fee. While this is a decent hotel with a good breakfast and good location, this very poor and inconsiderate treatment was not what we expected from a five-star luxury hotel. We suggest visitors to Tirana stay at another luxury hotel in the downtown area - there are several. …

I had stayed at this hotel frequently between 1997 and 2010 and it was probably the best hotel in Tirana during these times. I revisited in October this year and found that it was still as good as ever. There are, of course, a lot more quality hotels in Tirana now as the country has developed but I still feel that the Rogner provides excellent quality and value for money. The rooms are a good size and the restaurant food is excellent. The staff are friendly and the whole ambience is a relaxed one.

The location is outstanding. The hotel is solid. The rooms are spacious and clean. They are a little outdated but that is also the charm of the place. The staff is professional and friendly. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we had while we were in Albania. The outdoor space is incredible for a downtown location with a nice garden and large swimming pool. The spa was just ok.

Wonderful hotel. We had a room with balcony and garden view. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The staff were very friendly and nice. They could understand English, all our requests were attended promptly attended to. Breakfast contained everything you would need. We really enjoyed our stay at Rogner hotel and strongly recommend it.

The best location in Tirana, especially for business trips. I would say this hotel is also perfect for families with children. Breakfast - top class! Rooms are different, make sure you have a one with balcony.

We had such a relaxing time here. The hotel is in the best location in Tirana. It is near all the sights, the best restaurants, the shopping centres, the beautiful park so you can walk to almost any place you want. The hotel itself is set in lovely gardens with a swimming pool. It is like having a resort holiday in the middle of a lovely city. We liked our room very much - we had a top floor suite with a balcony. I can highly recommend this hotel.
