My daughter and I spent 10 nights here in December 2019. The location is fantastic, right next to Skanderbeg square and walking distance from the museums and city centre.
The staff was extremely welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The GM Mrs. Brunilda Londo personally welcomed us at Reception during check in, and was very visible throughout our stay (I don't think she ever sleeps).
The hotel is sparkling clean and the dining room for breakfast (included with the room price) was large with a nice balcony overlooking the square, and most importantly a very nice spread (full breakfast buffet). Please note that there's no omelet station attached to the buffet, but ask any of the servers and they will make you any kind of omelet or eggs.
The view from our room was amazing, the city had done a tremendous job with the Christmas decoration (built a winter village like Disney Land) and the hotel benefits because of its proximity from it.
As a wold traveler I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again!

The hotel's location is excellent because it is adjacent to the square. During our stay, there is a carnival and it was a very good sight to see. The staffs were helpful when we asked them to lend us an umbrella coz during our stay there it is always raining.
The rooms are cleaned daily as well as towels were changed daily too. The only downside is that the bathroom can be easily flooded because the bathtub does not drain fast and it is too narrow. There was no drainage on the floor too.
There was no free water and we have to ask for a kettle which a four-star rated hotel should have provided automatically.
Breakfast menu were the same everyday during our 3 nights stay there.
But still i enjoy my stay there because the country itself is worth the stay and sight.

Obviously very good location right next to the Skandebeg square in the absolute central of Tirana. Somewhat good relatively large selection of breakfast and in evening turn into restuarant with balcony with outside seating facing offering an excellent view over Skandebeg square and city skyline. That is about all things I liked about this hotel.

Unfortunately got a room that was full of discrepancies such as broken window (cold temperature, outside sound disturbances), WiFi connection very fluctuating, constantly dropping, at times offline for hours on end and very weak signal overall only decent in close proximity to the door and out of range when seated in main armchair.

There is a good solid and above standard length bath tub which I as an above average height +2m person really enjoyed, but unfortunately the toiletries gave me a red rash in the face.

Only one power outlet electricity socket. Very old dated and small TV with small selection of International satellite TV-channels. Very old and scratched broken wooden floor that is very squeaky, in fact woke up several times in middle of night due to other guests in room above just walked stepped on their floor.

Very fluctuating quality and performance of house keeping which came and woke me up at 9 o'clock in the morning several times, but did not clean the room until late afternoon and one time opened up the door and walked in on me while I was naked.

Allthough the location is excellent and offers great city view in both directions it is quite disturbing, especially as I got a room with a window that did not shut properly, with the very close proximity to the mosque in Skandebeg square whose call for prayer loudspeakers will wake you and keep you up at night.

In alles very in doubt this hotel really is 4* would consider it 3* at best. Heavily overpriced and relies on long lost glory from it's 1970s heyday. There are several other much better hotel options in this city with 5* offering much more value for money, with modern stylish up to western european standard quality hotel rooms.

Rooms
We had a reasonably large room which overlooked Skanderbeg Square. The view was really good and relatively quiet.

This was extremely clean and had the normal toiletries, safe and mini bar.

Location

The location was absolutely perfect as it is right on the square, where a lot of the main attractions are. Not far from the hotel there is the bus station where you can get a bus to see the Bunk’Art and go to the cable car.
Staff

The staff were very friendly. We ordered a taxi both to and from the airport and this was both cheap and punctual.

Food

The breakfast was buffet style with a good choice of food including breads, cereal, fruit, cheese, ham and cakes. There was always plenty of food available. The restaurant has an outside area and is large so social distancing wasn’t a problem, added to this was the view of the square

This hotel has a history. In the period Albania was fenced of from the rest of the world this was about the only hotel featuring internatiol standards. The public spaces are still nice and spacy. The restaurant has a big terrace with a splendid view on the towns mainsquare..The rooms are rather basic and dated. Book a room on the squareside. On the other side they built a highrise just opposite so you have no view staying at that side.

A really bad hotel masquerading as a good one. Gets one extra point for the location which is good and for the parking, but the positives stop there.

You would be forgiven for thinking that this is a nice hotel when walking into the well-lit lobby area but you would be wrong. The hotel attempts to cut corners at every turn. The rooms are pokey and nothing really works properly. The aircon blew hot air and the light made a loud buzzing sound whenever it was switched on (I did take a video but I'm unable to upload it). The shower, which works ok, is covered with a dirty old curtain. There is no in-room tea or coffee or even water, which for the price you pay for the hotel is scandalous. The bed is uncomfortable and there isn't really a duvet at all - more an old sheet. I had to sleep with the window open so that meant the noise of the city. I didn't sleep at all well.
TWICE the staff at reception area messed up the keys. which meant that first my colleague thought my room was his own, and then the second time other guests came bursting through the room door at 02.00 to much confusion from all parties.
The breakfast was frankly rubbish and the restaurant is overpriced and lacking in atmosphere.
Overall, I certainly won't be staying here again. Hotel needs serious investment and to stop cutting corners at the expense of their customers.

The hotel is good enough but make sure you request a room with a view of the main square, otherwise you'll end up looking at scaffolding and construction. Another bigger hotel is being built right next door.
Also, and most importantly, during the whole time I was there for a conference (6 days), the hotel wifi was sporadic and totally unreliable. For a hotel claiming to be a conference center, it should sharpen its services.

The hotel is a five minute walk from the airport and is a well organised, tidy hotel that is very suitable for business travellers working at the airport.
Good breakfast, good room.
The small gym is available 24/7.
Staff were very helpful with calling taxis and running people around, for no charge, when it was raining.
Excellent stay.

Fantastic location in the heart of the city with an excellent bedding. Rooms have a good size. it's only a four starts hotel but the concierge and receptioists were very amicable and helpuf to all requests.
Breakfast was good with variety and some local dishes. Other meals were for lunch and diner were good with a good selection of Italian wines. The outside terrace bar is great.
I will certainly go back to this hotel during my next stay in Tirana
