This small hotel is well situated, and, effectively, includes a spa, with a (small) indoor swimming pool, a sauna and massage rooms. In its name, however, we doubt the word 'grand', old-fashioned and short of meaning, is warranted.

The restaurant serves some international food that hardly reaches standards, and the breakfast buffet is quite reduced.

Apart from that, the room was quite new-looking, well set and spacious enough. Curiously, the bed, quite high, needs some climbing on.

Service was faultless.

This little hotel is situated in the heart of Blloku, the trendiest area of Tirana, surrounded by fantastic bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is everything you'd want and expect from a 4 star. The beds are very comfortable. Air Con works perfectly. WiFi is fast. The shower did change between hot and cold while in it, otherwise it was good. The pool when we visited in May was not heated, but very refreshing in the heat. The breakfast was excellent with a mixture of hot and cold food, good coffee and fruit juices. The staff were absolutely amazing. Very friendly and helpful, doing whatever they could to assist you. Special mention to Ben at the bar and ladies on reception! I will return!

The rooms are outdated but the staff is 10/10 so very kind, professional and go above and beyond. Can’t say enough.

The kind receptionist/ front desk lady working overnight and daytime printed pages for me and stapled them together so nicely. Wish I knew her name because she was so delightful.

A really lovely hotel, perfectly situated i the Block in central Tirana. (Almost) everything interesting is walkable, and the neigbourhood is lively, but not too noisy. The staff is polite, kind and not too pushy (as a Scandi I appreciate that!) . I loved the breakfast, and also the lobby bar/café with outdoor seating. The charming, classic room was spacious and had everything I needed. Plus for a really good shower! Thanks for a lovely stay!

They haven't had a working SPA for a year now, but apparently they have some problems updating their website (???). They clearly know that you can't do anything about it once you get there (as it happened to us).
The breakfast is below average, the rooms and the structure dated... May have been a Grand Hotel 10 years ago.

Hotel is situated in a nice and safe area, rooms are very clean and hotel staff is excellent. Forgot my bag at the restaurant with all my money, bank cards and passport. I realised 3 hours later so rushed back. One of the hotel staff named Niko had founded and handed the bag to reception for me to collect. Thank you Niko and thank you all staff at Grand hotel leisure and spa.

The bartender and the reception lady was the kindest and most proffesional. The bartender was at our service the whole time, the coffe and the drinks he made was perfect. I can’t remember his name but i think something with Daniel. I highly recommend that if you travel to Tirana you need to stay at this hotel.

Grand Hotel Tirana is located in probably the best area in the capital of Albania, Tirana. It is near all the biggest organizations, institucions, goverment ect. If you have in the future bussiness trips in Tirana, i will recommend this hotel because is located like i said before. The hotel has nice rooms, service, foods and I have to said that the staff is very friendly(they are ready to help you in every aspect that you will ask to them). Best of all was the hospitality by the reception desk, they were friendly, also the check in was very fast one.

This hotel is located right amongst the bars and restaurants of tirana - an area known as the block. It's not on a main road (unlike the Rogner which has alot of road works right in front of it) so there isn't any traffic noise.

The room was fine, quite spacious although it smelled a little of cigarette smoke. The bed (single) was rather firm.

The breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace and they have delicious croissants. On the downside, they have a problem with flies buzzing above the jam and fruit tarts which is off putting.

The service in the lobby and roof top bars was very good and one of the receptionists was particularly friendly. There is a bank machine just two doors up from the hotel where you would probably get a better exchange rate than the hotel's rate.

All in all, a nice enough stay for a business trip.
