Although within the city centre of Tirana, access to the hotel is via winding, narrow lanes with one wrong turn leading to your getting lost. Care is needed when negotiating these lane ways, as drainage from a couple of the high rise residential units is via a pipe which drains in a shower like fashion on to unsuspecting souls below! My room was very small and the bed unusually low to the ground! The bathroom was typical of many in this region, being small with the shower having no sides or curtains and care was needed to prevent water from going everywhere. The lobby was nicely furnished and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate, but strangely, tea and coffee was not included.

This hotel, although located near the center of Tirana (just a short walk) was disappointing. The bathrooms would flood with water once taking a shower, the receptionists were sassy & rude, the bed sheets were dirty and rock hard, let alone the numerous stairs to be climbed to get to your room ! The nicest thing in the hotel was the all white modern lobby, but the rooms were the opposite of that.

Hidden away in backstreets that are currently basically inaccessible by car due to roads torn up by roadworks, one must navigate piles of rubble to even find the hotel. Once in the rooms, the experience did not improve. Despite claiming to have internet in the rooms, it was only accessible in the lobby downstairs. The rooms had no shower cubicle and we even found exposed wires and uncovered powerpoints on the wall the shower head was on! Most things seemed to be held together with tape and the carpets in the hallways and on the stairs were always mysteriously damp. The whole place smelt musty and just feel depressing. The one caveat is that there is a Main Street very close by, so it's in quite a decent location.

I believe this hotel has been renovated since most of these reviews (check out booking.com for more recent ones). I stayed here for two nights and thought it was a fantastic value for the price.

Rooms are modern, decent-sized, and have strong AC (it was 100 degrees in Tirana during my stay, so that was critical). Staff are super friendly, and offered me a coffee when they saw I missed breakfast and were happy to help me call taxis to Dajti Express and the main bus station. Location is super central, just minutes away from the main square and Tirana castle.

Horrible service with rude accommodations, very dirty rooms.. Found a comdom on the floor as the cleaning woman was cleaning.. Do not waste your time like I did! Although the lobby is gorgeous and all white do not let it sway you, the rooms are drab, the bathrooms
get flooded with water etc.. Overall less than mediocre

Very much a backstreet establishment, probably better 'in its day'. Almost impossible to find by car - down various narrow back streets that even the local traffic cops couldn't direct us to, lol. The address on this site is incorrect, which was no great help (albeit close). Bit of a run down and tired place, but pretty much what we expected from fairly low budget city hotel.

However, yes, there was parking right outside the hotel as we'd booked in one of three private key-locked spaces. The staff worked very hard to accommodate us and even suggested a bed arrangement change between our two rooms, and made the changes in minutes. The reception staff were most helpful, and the same staff cooked an excellent breakfast too! Close to city park, museums, and restaurants.

This is a lovely little hotel, with charming staff who just can't do enough for you. The rooms are small but immaculate and the breakfast, although limited in choice is superb in quality and served as always with a charming smile. There is also a nice bar area serving Albanian beer (and Heineken & Tuborg if you prefer - which I don't). The Hotel is well positioned close to Skanderbeg Square. Don't be put off by the surrounding buildings, this is Albania and this hotel is a little gem! When you've visited all the main sites in Tirana, go to Grand Park, sit in the shade and enjoy a coffee or beer, it's a lovely park especially in the spring.

We stayed here on an Intrepid Tour. It was small but adequate. The location is very good.

Our double room was small and rather garish in colouring, nothing special apart from geraniums on the minibalcony.

The interior design of the reception/common room/bar area was amazingly ultramodern black and white.

There was a small courtyard where I sat one evening to eat a takeaway meal. Rather atmospheric.

Comments by others on getting to and from the location certainly are correct. Fortunately our tour leader took us there and then pointed out landmarks to ensure we could find our way in and out.

[Just catching up on reviews from a long trip.]

It was okay I suppose but it is incredibly hard to find because the location on the map is wrong. It is actually up a back street and is surrounded by dilapidated flats. It was quiet so I slept well but the staff at reception were a bit abrupt, but then they often are. The breakfast didn't include coffee so I was charged for that separately. Whoever heard of a breakfast without coffee? I've posted a photo taken from my balcony so you can see the surrounding area.
