As we were a big group the hostel worked fine for us as it is close to city center. Rooms were need. Communal bathrooms were adequate but without much space to put things when showering. Quite strange that heating is put off over night when it is most needed.

Do not stay at this hostel under any circumstance! It had a grey, dirty and smoky reception area. The rooms weren't too bad but they were like saunas! It was 37 degrees outside and the room was pretty much the same temperature. Obviously, no a/c or fan.

The place looks nice, pretty lobby and the room is clean, only two problems was that there was not hot water in the bathroom and the checkout time is 10 am, very early for my taste. But other than that it was ok.

I arrived at this YHA hostel - formerly a hotel - without any reservations, and stayed in a twin room with private bathroom for €35 a night though I should've just stayed in a dorm as the private room is not really worth €35.
