The facilities were very poor, with the first room we were offered having the door handle of the bathroom door broken. Moreover, we received very old towels, full of marks (not sure what kind of marks). The room had just 1 electrical outlet. We requested a new room and we received it. The second room had a good bathroom door...

I was a but disappointed, when I saw this hostel. They didn't have double rooms, when we arrived, so we were offered a triple or quadeuple room. Rooms are very old-fashioned and chabby. Still bathrooms were not to old and clean. It was quite hot in the room and the window is to the lobby. There is a fan, but it...

We stayed here for 4 nights and our room was upgraded for the same price as the hotel wasn't busy. The hostel is freshly renovated so it is clean and modern. Coffee and vending machines are in the lobby. Only one bathroom but it was hardly ever occupied. About a 10 minute walk to Gara de nord and 30 minute...

The pictures fromt he website are deceiving. It seems like the hostel is also the home for the whole family so there's always a lot of noise around. Our room faced the streed and the blinds didn't work. The staff was never around and only one of them spoke english which made interaction extremely difficult. If you're on a budget...

The hostal is very easy to reach by foot, metro or train. Even though it is not in the middle of downtown, you can still walk or take public transportation (which is only a few blocks from the place). Restaurants and supermarkets around. Staff is very helpful and always trying to help you out with anything you might need. I...

I've booked a room for three nights and to be honest I've expected much more as I've seen on their website but unfortunately we were really dissatisfied. Outside it was so cold and inside was freezing cause during the day they turned off the heating, the bathroom was completely empty without toilet paper and they provided two small hand towels...

I chose to stay here with my friends at the Byzantin Hostel for 2 nights, I can say that it has been a very goog choice This hostel is located in an area not very central in the city, from here you can reach downtown from the nearby subway station about 200 meters away, by taxi or after the closing...

An excellent choice for budget travelers in the center of Bucharest. In particular - if you're not looking for a five star hotel comfort and need only spending a few hours at night. Very nice receptionist!

I stayed here with my brother for three nights. It is in a really good location. The staff were lovely, and they told us where to go to drink. They also sorted out a taxi to the airport for us. The receptionist helped us by teaching us some Romanian words, and seemed determined to leave us with a good impression...
