We stayed at Opera Hotel for one night in late November and the place was a great surprise .It is situated in the city center , very close to the National Theatre. We had one double room with a king size bed at the 7th floor . The room was spacious , same was the bath . The bed was...

The hotel is located right next to beautiful Cismigiu park and within a short walking distance to what is left of the city's historic centre (Lipscani Street). Though centrally located, the hotel is a few streets away from major trafic arteries which significantly reduced the noise and made sleeping easier, even though my mattress was a bit uncomfortable (perhaps it...

I have just returned from 5 day stay at this hotel and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice a hotel it was. The rooms were very clean and very spacious. The location is a 5 - 10 minute walk from the Lipscani district in Bucharest. There was a few mini marts near by and a few restaurants near the...

This was just a night stay at the beginning of a 11 day group holiday. Tiny lobby and bar as well as the room being clean and spacious with a large single bed. Staff helpful. Average breakfast. Walking distance to city center.

We found this hotel on the Internet and it was ideal for our 2-day stay in Bucharest. It was a 10-minute walk from the bus stop at Piata Universitie, and was just next to the Parcul Cismigiu and not far from Piata Revolutie and other interesting places. It was close enough to the Old Town for frequent strolls there. The...

I booked the Central Hotel but they were doing renos, so I got sent to Hotel Opera and upgraded to a junior suite on the top floor. Very spacious room! The bathroom is bigger than most London hotels. Location is 10min walk from Old Town but a bit far from everything else. Since I visited in late June, every day...

We were in Bucharest only for three nights so it was important for us to arrive to Enescu festival. Hotel Opera is situated in the center of the town, so close to "sala Palatului", Ateneul Roman or Calea Victoriei - an important avenue of Bucharest. The breakfast was excellent, the staff was polite and friendly, on TV we could see...

First the good things: breakfast buffet was excellent, clean rooms, helpful staff, good location by a nice park. The only downside was that the air conditioning had a terrible urine-like smell.

I stayed for 4 nights at this hotel and I liked it very much. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast was OK. Hotel Opera is situated in the centre of Bucharest and it took only 20 minutes by foot to go to the “famous” boasting palace build by Ceausescu, who destroyed 20% of the Bucharest...

I spend a few nights at the Opera hotel. Had a room with a kingsize bed, bathroom with a shower and a large flatscreen TV. The room was very clean the room service good e.g. new shower gel and shampoo every day. There was an AC and the TV offered many international channels US, french, italian and of course romanian....
