Wonderful hotel with a good vibe in the city center. The room and bathroom were spotless. Wooden furniture a little bit old, but well maintained. I was pleasantly surprised the towels and the sheets did not have that "hotel smell". Only downside I would say is that hotel parking is on the roadside and there is a risk not to... More

If it was lower category hotel, it would probably deserve "Poor". The only good side of it is the location. Everything else you do not want to try. I understand historic heritage of the building, but we live in 21st century for a while already. We do expect to have possibility of adjusting temperature in the room, for example. I... More

I stayed at the Capsa for a few nights a couple weeks ago and while I enjoyed my stay it was not without issues. First off the location is unbeatable for Bucharest. You are walking distance to most things that would be vital for a tourist, including Old Town which is important for eating and going out every night. As... More

Lots of gold and high ceilings. If you are into that kind of stuff this hotel may be for you! I found the building nice and the location central _but_ the hotel did not deserve five stars! Closed bar, miniscule mini bar in the room, "over worked"-feeling of staff.

This hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment, old stained carpets, entrance was once upon a time magestic but has lost its glow as it's not looked after, it looks runned down. We were allocated in the worst possible room. Right at the back with views to a wall. Really hot inside and the thick walls with fabric do not... More

I stayed at the central Capsa Hotel for two nights May 15/16th.It is a wonderful old building with character inside and out.The rooms have traditional wooden furniture and fittings, silk walls and gold bathroom fittings. The room was very hot and only had ceiling windows. The air conditioning was not effective. The staff were very professional and friendly with a good service... More
