Hotel MARK is a breath of fresh air to the hotel scene in Belgrade. Cozily tucked in Resavska street, it is close to the city center, and to St. Sava church. And if you need to go across the bridge to New Belgrade, we are very close to several bridges. Let us show you the true meaning of hospitality in the hearth of the city!

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We booked the Mark Hotel because of the good reviews on Trip Advisor. When we got there, we could not have the room we booked and got downgraded. As we booked through Booking.com, the hotel refused to give us a credit for the different in price. After a lot of negotiations, they gave a very small discount on the taxi ride from the airport and waved the tax (4 euros). The room we were given was clean, however for the first night, it had been prepared for a single occupant (one one towel). This was rectified for our second night. We had breakfast both morning and I must say, this was extremely disappointing. Most of the food was dried up as it had been out for either a very long time or it may have been left over from previous days. Toasts were fine but the rest was really not appetizing

Very well positioned, kind staff, comfortable room. The room was clean and big enough. The breakfast was good, with local specialties. Unfortunately there was no fruits and local (Turkish) coffee was not offered.

A very good hotel near to places of interest in Belgrade. Breakfast is especially good with some local pastes and even sundried tomatoes. Near to airport shuttle A1 across Hilton Hotel. The only downside is the noisy air condition in backyard facing rooms in top 3 floors. If you have sensitive ears avoid staying higher than 3rd floor.

An excellent hotel with all the necessary facilities in the heart of Belgrade. The rooms are spacious and tidy, the beds are very comfortable, no complaints! The staff and employees are very friendly and professional, a restaurant with a variety of high-quality food. Everything is within walking distance of the city center.

Very nice rooms with comfortable beds and toilets, kind service, flexibility and availability of the reception in listening to our requests and needs. It was nice to stay. Really appreciated the sustainability details, such as bio and fair coffee and soaps for showers.

While the reviews online and the pictures available make this hotel an attractive option, especially with the friendly price tag... the reality of my experience differed quite a bit, unfortunately. Starting with the check-in process, the front desk man was unfriendly and cold, making for a not very welcoming interaction. Then I got to the room, which ended up feeling smaller than what the pictures / description led me to expect from the booking site (Hotels.com). That, though, was manageable overall. The in-room safe was not working so well and I had to call the front desk staff on a few occasions as I could not open the safe, once it had been locked. Not very convenient. During the night, you can notice some noises coming from the shower drain and occasionally, some unpleasant smells coming from it, too. A way to counter that is to open the window, but then the street noise (there is a tram line passing in front of the hotel) makes it probably more uncomfortable. The water pressure in the shower was very good, though. The cleanliness was average. Daily housekeeping seemed to do a fine job, but the room itself had signs of wear and tear. Stained carpet, stained walls... these were not so visually pleasing. The breakfast experience, although included in the price of the room, was underwhelming, to say the least. There was a very small selection of items of which many were not actually breakfast ones: pasta, rice, etc. There was a daily option of eggs, but aside from this, it was very weak offering for food to be considered "breakfast-y". On a couple of days, they were out of clean forks and knives (had to wait 5+ minutes to get some). On a positive note, the location of the hotel was very convenient, being close to where A1 airport shuttle bus drops you off and some sights. All-in-all, I would say that this hotel is average at best, although I would rate it below average. I think you can definitely find some better alternatives to stay in Belgrade.

Lovely boutique hotel - excellent check-in service. Fantastic location. They were kind enough to hold a package for me which arrived a day early than my stay. Comfortable beds. No smoking - excellent choice.

This was our second stay at Mark Hotel, which certainly shows how pleased we are with the hotel. The breakfast is the highlight and the overall stay is quite pleasant. Rooms are constantly cleaned and have a few amenities when you get there, like a chocolate bar on the pillow and a large bottle of water. We encountered a slightly broken plastic lid around the toilet handle, but it was just a minor inconvenience in an otherwise perfect stay. We'll sure go back there again in the future. The location is ideal by the way.
