A beautiful hotel, nice restaurant, friendly staff, cold A/C but we had an uncomfortable mattress (sagged in the middle, our friends said they had no problem with theirs). Lots of security and just across the street from the airport. I was surprised that we only heard one airplane all night. An easy walk to the airport but we used their...

Hotel is extremely close to airport - you can literally just walk across the road. A little expensive compared to other places in Managua, but worth it for the travel convenience of an early departure or late arrival. Breakfast is included and was pretty darn tasty. Nice pool and well appointed rooms

We stayed here for the night before catching an early flight out of Managua with our 6 and 8 year olds. Check-in was easy- the front desk people were fluent in both English and Spanish. The bell boy took us to our rooms (at $99/night, we opted for two rooms), and they were very clean, had tvs, desks, and even...

Across, the street from airport, large and beautiful hotel. Not everything quite works (typical in Nicaragua, but no problem), but great food, massage, drinks and people. Massage was $40 for 60 minutes. Hotel has two pools and you also feel safe and secure.

I have been traveling to Nicaragua on mission trips for 15 years. We travel 3.5 hours to our destination. Depending on our flight times coming and going, we have been staying here for all of these years! I love coming out of customs and they are waiting for you to get your bags and go through immigrations. The hotel is...

My wife and I stayed here with our 7-month-old son the night before our return flight to the U.S. First, the location of this hotel could not be more convenient for those arriving to or departing from the MGA airport; it's across the street! Despite this proximity, we couldn't really hear the planes, though it's unclear if this is due...

Living in Costa Rica retired. This was my winter "visa run". For me no runs any further north than Nicaragua. I started staying at this BW about 7 years ago. I love the fact that for the most part the staff is not doing the big rollover thing. Same great staff... smiling and being very helpful at the desk. The...

In Nicaragua, I have noticed that hotels ask if people are married upon check in. This is not a standard practice in the United States. When my husband and I received this question, he was extremely frustrated and spoke with management. Is this a form of discrimination because we are different ethnicities? Of course we are married, because he shows...

You pay a lot more because you can walk to the airport, and in all reality, much nicer and cheaper hotels have free shuttles to the airport. The Mercedes can be cram packed with day visitors too, they have some deal for groups to come in and use the pool and restaurant and out of 8 times I've stayed there...

Can't beat this for convenience - right across from the airport. Really cute set up - looks like little streets inside with rooms all on one level. Beds are comfortable, necessities are there although my room lacked a hair dryer. Air conditioned. And restaurant at this hotel is very nice for dinner and breakfast. Would def return!
