I have stayed at Hotel El Raizon in Masaya, on several occasions. This hotel is set up to accommodate Mission Teams visiting Nicaragua. The Hotel mets this challenge very well. It is not the fanciest place you can imagine, but it offers a very good and comfortable accommodation for an excellent price. The staff is very helpful. It helps if... More

This hotel was nice, and the people who worked there very sweet. I stayed two nights, one at the beginning of the week and one at the end. They have bottled water coolers for you to fill up your water bottle. They even have a pool. There are bunnies in cages to see and hammocks available to take a break.... More

Lovely hotel with excellent service. Mariela is super attentive and accommodating. For two years now we've had conferences with rooms for couples, singles, and dorm-style. Air conditioned meeting space with coffee available. Excellent meals. Convenience store on the premises. Small pool, too. You won't regret staying here!

Our group had 5 private rooms. While each of them were a little different, the overall review is excellent. Clean, neat and comfortable. Staff is helpful, always cleaning something, no corner gets ignored. Food was good, served promptly when our group's meal time was designated. Lots of filtered water around to fill up your water bottles for your day. Would... More

Have stayed here 3 times and love the atmosphere. Hotel is comfortable with good food and a nice grocer attached. Great for big groups. Will definitely be coming back! Love the rooms. Will feel like you experienced the real Nicaragua. Rooms are comfortable and bathrooms clean. A bit off the beaten path

Maryella was so accommodating to our group. She goes above and beyond. We have not stayed in the hotel, only in the group rooms. The facility is very well protected and locked. Nice little family store for all your needs. Food was great as well. Thank you for another great year Maryella.

The plain entrance gives no hint of the relaxing abode within. The grounds are lovely with numerous mango trees and greenery. There is a small pool with a mural for the background, hammocks and porch swings, outdoor seating throughout the grounds, rabbits, parrots, and a small, friendly dog. I was on a mission trip so stayed in a plain dormitory... More

We have stayed here several times and they are very attentive to our needs. There are several housing options, great breakfasts and they make great suppers as well. We also loved having the Mini-Super right there for the week.

Mariella and her staff are great. There are a number of stores where you can pick up essentials. A hardware store, market, bicycle shop and variety store. Our group has been staying here for two years and they keep getting better. Cable TV, wifi, water throughout the day, swimming pool, air conditioning and the rooms are very clean. For people... Look beyond the iron gated front of the very small property, which is only several meters from the Masaya highway. If you are patient, you will find a place with basic rooms and beautifully appointed common areas for visiting and relaxing. My room was #3 and it had a very basically constructed interior, but was welcoming and very clean. Bed... More
