We had a great time at the Balboa Inn, us and our 3 kids were welcomed with open arms by Rosie and Simon. They did their best to make our holidays great, from organizing taxis to organizing day trips. Rooms are good and spacious with a good breakfast served by friendly people. Close to town and yet quiet, with loads... More

Thank you "The Fullemann Family" for your kind review. We thoroughly enjoyed having you all here with us on your two visits. Your children Maeva, Naledi and Ayiana were fantastic, such beautiful girls that are a credit to you. I am so happy they enjoyed their experience with the sloths and your jungle adventure. We are sure mum and dad... More

Lovely place, great hosts and soon to have a beautiful garden. Lots of birds around so paradise for birdlovers. They allow pets, which is great, so we could bring our dog. Room was good with excellent WiFi connection. And breakfast is delicious. We will definitely stay again!

Dear Hermine & William, thank you for your lovely review and so happy you found the Balboa Inn the perfect place for your stay in the city. We look forward to your return in December with your adorable beautiful dog "Aragon" or Arry as I like to call him. Kind regards Rosie & Simon. More

I stayed on and off at the Balboa Inn for a week in september 2016. Rosie and Simon are very friendly and helpful and the staff as well. The inn is located in a central but quiet area, and close to the Casco and the causeway. The rooms are spacious and the central area makes you feel relaxed. I'll be... More

I have stayed with my family at the Balboa Inn last week - for the second time in a year- and I can only agree with the slogan on their (beautifully soft and luxurious!) towels: "The Balboa Inn- your home from home"! When I booked the first time last year, I chose this B&B primarily for its excellent location- it... More

Couldn't agree more with previous positive comments. Feeling home abroad, nice and clean rooms, good coffee and excellent breakfast. Quite place to be, close by the locks, the hill and with a cab your a in an instance at the old town for example. Simon and Rosie bid us a hospitable welcome. Rosie and Simon are very helpful and very friendly. They are of great assistance for any question such as restaurants, sight seeing etc. The rooms are very basic, especially considering the price for the rooms. Breakfast is pretty rudimentary too. The replenishment of breakfast items is rather slow, and in our case there was no more coffee even before the... More

A lovely hotel run by a lovely English couple - the rooms are a good size and mine had beautifully decorated walls with painted storks and foliage, super hot water with nice bathrooms freebies. It also had great storage space, large windows and a/c; all set in a lovely shaded garden, onto which some rooms open onto. You eat breakfast... More

The very first thing to say about the Balboa Inn is to commend the high level of service offered by Rosie and Simon. From booking a lift from and to the airport (very important) to guidance on how to negotiate a local taxi, they are very quick to offer help or do the arranging for you. Besides that, the rooms... We had the pleasure of spending 10 nights at the Inn with our fantastic hosts, Rosie and Simon, during our recent trip to Panama.
