We went to Annapolis for the weekend and stayed at Chez Amis, very quaint, well maintained and friendly B&B. This was our first time at a B&B and did not really know what to expect. Ms Elly was very friendly and helpful, gave us guidance as to where to go, where to park and gave us a 50% coupon for...

My wife and make an annual visit to Annapolis for a Navy football game. Our weekend would not be complete without our stay at Chez Amis. Elly, Joe and Maggie the Wonder Dog are perfect hosts. If we couldn't stay at Chez Amis we probably would forego the game.

We loved the inn! Everything was clean, the breakfast was wondeful and our room on the first floor was surprisingly quiet! Elly is a gracious innkeeper. If you cannot do stairs the first floor room is a great option. We will stay again.

We recently stayed at Chez Amis over our anniversary weekend and had a fantastic time! We were also in Annapolis to run the Across the Bay 10K. This delightful B&B is in a great spot - right in the middle of downtown and it's an easy walk to the stadium where we had to pick up the shuttle to get...

This was our first visit to Annapolis. Elly welcomed us and gave us an introduction to the city as if she was our personal tour guide. You couldn't ask for a better location to walk around Annapolis. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The availability of drinks and snacks at anytime were a nice touch....

Oh hi there and happy Thanksgiving. I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself. We are a walking city and right in the heart of it. You can tell I've fallen in love with it as well as being an Innkeeper. Can't wait until you come back and see us again! - Elly, Joe and mascot Maggie the wonder dog.

Our children gave us a gift certificate for Chez Amis, and we decided to add a night. So glad we did! I am not a huge fan of B & B's, but if more were like this one, I would be a fan. Elly called us to make sure we weren't lost, and greeted us quite warmly. She showed us...

Oh I've created a convert! I am so glad you enjoyed everything as I'm sure it's anxious not knowing what to expect. We want you to feel comfortable but also spoiled! Annapolis makes it easy with all the things to do and places to eat. Hope you come back for another occasion. I'm grateful to your children! -Elly

This is a hidden gem in Annapolis. Elly took great care of us. The breakfasts were very tasty and the snacks were a nice touch. The house is very accommodating and close to all of the Annapolis downtown activities and USNA.

Thank you for the review. The Inn used to be the 'corner store' in the neighborhood in the turn of the century so I try to keep candy and cookies available for the guests at all times to keep the theme. And Maggie hopes for the crumbs to drop... Hope to see you again soon!

I can't say enough about our recent stay in the State House Room at Chez Amis. It was ALL GOOD and then some. The location is perfect if you want to park your car and not see it again throughout your visit to Annapolis. It is a quick and quaint walk through town to get anywhere you want to go....

Thank you so much. I loved surprising your husband for his birthday so it was my pleasure to do that. I'm so happy his 'progressive birthday' was such a success. It makes running the Inn so much fun to have guests with special occasions even though I've been known to spoil a restaurant surprise...oops..you mean you didn't need directions? LOL...

Our stay was short, but we will always remember the hospitality extended by Elly, Joe and Maggie the wonder dog! Chez Amis is their labor of love and it shows. Imagine coming into Annapolis by ship hundreds of years ago and checking into you warm and welcoming B&B. So many historic touches with all the conveniences of 21st century technology....

Gosh what a wonderful way of describing our home/B&B. Living in historic Annapolis you realize you are the stewards of history and it gives me so much pleasure to share that with my guests. And plus they get Wifi. LOL, I can hear the ghosts roll their heads! Thanks again!

A great location in the historic heart of Annapolis, although on site parking would have been nice. You have to move your car to a parking garage a few blocks away. The innkeeper is very friendly and personable and made the guests feel at home. The bed was a little hard for my companion, but not for me. The breakfast...

Thank you for taking the time to write this. I'm sorry you didn't read on our website about our validated garage parking, but on the flip side leaving your car in the city garage insures your car is safe and in the winter, you don't have to shovel it off! Please let us know how we can improve your stay...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
"Chez Amis" in French means "Among Friends". Come share a day, weekend or week with us and enjoy the state capitol of Maryland and all it has to offer. Our 4 bedroom Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of historic Annapolis, Maryland and is nearby the State Capitol, St. John's College, the waterfront, city dock, the Naval Academy, antique shops and fabulous dining and entertainment places all within walking distance.Find comfort and old fashioned relaxation at Chez Amis. Since each guest room has a private TV, the French country styled common area is designed for reading, conversation, and playing many games of your choice. Bananagrams and scrabble seem to be our guests’ favorite. Refreshments and homemade cookies are available throughout your stay so we understand if you ‘sneak downstairs’ for just one last cookie. The dining area is a wonderful piece of carpentry that was built by the previous inn owner. It comfortably fits our guests but we also offer supplemental seating if you choose a more intimate table. ... more   less
