My husband and I had an exceptional stay this August! This luxury bed and breakfast was our local vacation this year due to Covid. We felt very safe the entire stay!! Ken and the rest of the staff were over the top accommodating and helpful. The morning breakfast is incredible (one of my favorite parts), as well as the afternoon tea (especially the homemade desserts like the carrot cake!) Not only is the Inn a fabulous place to stay, but it is also in a very convenient location. We can't wait to come back!!

We have had limited travel this year due to COVID so when we decided to spend a few nights on Nantucket, we chose the Union Street Inn based on the excellent reviews. We were not disappointed! The staff was excellent, reaching out to us prior to our arrival to help with securing dinner reservations. Breakfasts were delicious and prepared fresh. The afternoon tea was wonderful and they even baked gluten, dairy and nut free cookies especially for my husband :) When our ferry home was cancelled due to weather they were able to accommodate us an additional night in our same room. The inn was close to the ferry and walkable to downtown. Highly recommend!

The Union Street Inn is a wonderful place with a great and helpful staff. It’s in town so easy to walk to shopping and restaurants. It’s beautifully decorated and has a large and pretty brick patio and garden where you can eat breakfast and also relax any time, but especially in the afternoon with the snacks and iced tea they put out. The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful and sent restaurant recommendations when I made my reservation and then made my restaurant reservations too. They’ll also arrange bike or jeep rentals or a sail. It’s the perfect place to stay in Nantucket.

This was a very nice experience, everything was comfortable and staff was excellent, especially Bethany. My daughter had a great time and everyone was very accommodating and friendly. I live nearby but i will definetly stay here again if another situation arises to warrant it. 5 stars.

I've stayed here many times- and this past visit, confirmed why it's the best lodging in Nantucket- whether it's B&B, hotel, or anything. The owner Ken had a long career in hotel management, and took his expertise to Nantucket to build a high end, luxury bed/breakfast. His son Kevin now manages it- and he's spectacular. The things I like: without a doubt, the best, cooked breakfast on the island. No other B&B has a license to do a cooked breakfast for some reason? This place does. Every day, I ordered eggs, pancakes, toast, all cooked to order and 5 star. The bedroom: perfect bed, dark, cool, luxurious, best bathroom with best amenities, housekeeping spectacular, afternoon tea/cookies great, they are always gracious, warm, helpful. They'll make dinner reservations, anything you ask for is "Sure, what else can I do to help?", and Kevin I consider now a great friend of mine: He gives advice, tells nantucket stories, they become your family. You can spend twice the amount in nantucket, and not get half the product you get here. High end, luxury, stellar service, family (Ken and Kevin) run- every detail is thought of and covered. Only drawback? It's hard to get a reservation, no last minute booking- it's in high demand. So you need to plan, it took me a couple years to get into this place. Some rooms are better of course. The couple most expensive ones are obviously better and bigger, need some months in advance of course. Anything you think of, call Kevin and he'll take care of you. The absolute best.

Hi, We have plenty of off-street parking. How big is the pickup and does the kayak extend beyond the end of the truck bed? Best, Ken

Are we able to drop off bags prior to check-in the day we arrive for a stay?
Answer from LeighAnne_USI

You may certainly store your bags with us until your room is available. We like to know your arrival time so we may prioritize your room accordingly. Check in is 3pm but we will do our best to accommodate an early check-in if we can.

Hello, We do not allow pets, however we do allow service dogs. There is a fee is the pet creates extra cleaning for the housekeepers. If the pet is a disturbance to guests, then we would have to relocate the pet to a local animal boarding facility. Thanks!
