What people say -- good location, good value, good breakfast, great staff -- are all true. Some rooms are smaller and have odd angles, but this is indeed an old house. Lots of good sitting areas inside and (especially) outside as well. Cindy offers excellent and consistent service.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at the Cliff Lodge. We stayed for a few nights and when we got stuck due to a tropical storm, they were extremely accommodating. The house is beautiful and charming. Breakfast was good every day. It's a short walk from town. And the view from the rooftop lookout is great!

My husband and I just enjoyed a wonderful 4 night stay at The Cliff Lodge, circa 1771. This charming, historic inn is the perfect location on a peaceful street, and a pleasant 10-minute stroll to the main hub of town. Also close to Brandt Point lighthouse beach and two other beaches. Given the fact that Nantucket lost many original buildings... More

Since we were touring the island by bike, rather than by car, we wanted to stay in a place that was near, but not in, the downtown area. Cliff Lodge has a perfect location for that. We actually stayed in 2 rooms while there: room 11 on the third floor, which we found a bit cramped, and room 2 on... More

I am NOT a bread and breakfast person. However, if I were to return to Nantucket, this would be like returning home. All the staff and the owner are gracious and friendly. Rooms are good (Nantucket b&b style). Breakfast very good. Location very good. The manager,Melissa, and her helper can't do enough for you. A definite recommendation.

Our 4 night stay exceeded my expectations. The sunset views from the roof walk were amazing. I will stay here again for the roof walk alone. The beautiful garden was a lovely, relaxing setting for us to bring our own dinner back to enjoy away from the town crowd. Melissa was friendly, attentive and super helpful. Cindy was always there... I stayed with my parents at this B&B and it was wonderful! Very close to Jetties beach and downtown - we walked almost everywhere! The B&B was clean and beautiful. And, the staff were incredibly sincere and sweet.
