My husband and I spent the weekend here for our anniversary and we really enjoyed our stay. We made a last minute booking during one of their busiest weekends and there was just 1 room left available (petite queen). The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated however if you are looking for space, I suggest opting for one of their larger rooms. The hotel staff was friendly and super accommodating. Added bonus: If you are planning to head to the beach, the hotel will provide you with beach towels and bags so you don't need to worry about packing that during your travels! We had a lovely time here and will definitely be back!
Upon check-in we were greeted with friendly smiles and accommodating staff. Our room was spacious, CLEAN, and decorated beautifully. The breakfast which was grab and go due to COVID was delicious. We ate our breakfast in the garden of the hotel each morning, which was lovely. My daughter and I are gluten-free and the staff was more than accommodating by making us breakfast that we could eat and ENJOY! 76 Main’s location is prime! Within minutes you could be at a cafe enjoying a delicious meal or shopping at a unique boutique. We look forward to returning soon!
We picked room 17 bc of the private entrance and secluded patio space which were both convenient and safe for covid. The packaged breakfasts were nice with hard boiled eggs, yogurt and pastries. I was really happy with the sleeper sofa option for anyone with a noisy/restless sleeping partner (like me)! Note the ceiling is low and the bathroom is snug, which didn’t bother us but wouldn’t work well for those over 5’10ish. The front desk was very accommodating with our asks, towel refresh etc. My favorite space was definitely the back private patio and fire pit. Location is great proximity to downtown
Had an amazing 3 night stay here for our honeymoon. They upgraded our room and gave us wine. Everything felt very safe and clean. The staff was very accommodating. The back area to hang out is beautiful. We will Absolutely be back!!
I’ve never written a review before but my experience here was so horrible I feel obligated to warn others before they pay top dollar. Not only was the hotel and front desk staff arrogant and completely unprofessional, but most of the time during our trip here the front desk was staffed by a group of teenagers who reeked of marijuana. The staff here have some of the worst attitudes I’ve ever encountered in the service industry. There is a fire pit in the back of the hotel, but it is only turned on during 4 to 7pm. After asking an employee to turn it on at 7:30pm, we were told it would go against the “quiet hours” that Nantucket apparently has after 9pm. If you’re taller than 6ft I would stay away from here. I am 6 foot and had to crouch down my entire stay in my hotel room because the ceiling is so low. The water pressure in the shower left me red and the mattress in the hotel room left me sore for days. Given the very expensive rate of the hotel I expected service to go above and beyond. We will never be coming back to this hotel (more like motel) again.…
