Stayed at the Camino Real for close to a week on business. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with smiles and such warm hospitality. Every one of the staff throughout our stay were wonderful ambassadors for the hotel...always attentive and accommodating. The entire resort is beautifully decorated and the grounds are meticulously kept. Excellent restaurant onsite. Rooms were... More

This hotel has all the facilities you would expect of a top class hotel. It is 10 minutes walk from the main square of Antigua. Rooms are huge with great beds and shower. The large jacuzzi is a great place to wind down and meet people. Food was excellent but expensive. Service was on occasion a little slow at breakfast.... More

Camino Real whilst modern in its amenities - it is about 7 years old - manages to capture the essence of Antigua. The buildings are beautiful and it is well laid out in a manner which makes each section private and quiet. The large rooms are well equipped and very comfortable. We spent a week there preparing for and attending a wedding... After a day of volcano hiking, shopping or sight seeing, the Camino Real offers a peaceful and beautiful retreat with attentive staff and excellent service all around. The breakfast buffet is outstanding.

Camino Real Antigua is a beautiful property with lush, well-maintained gardens and beautiful, well furnished and designed rooms. My partner and I stayed here for only 1 night and wish we could have stayed here longer. Breakfast was delicious and the hotel staff even took the time to pack a take-away snack for us to take on our morning hike... More

We had the Sunday brunch. It was extremely disappointing, flavorless, they let you choose chicken , lomo (thin filet), or puyaso (thicker meat but fattier). We choose lomo, it was more like beef patties. The service was terrible, had to wait 20 mins for drinks, even tho place was less than half full. They got the drink order wrong. The... More
