We went to Antigua Guatemala for a couple of nights and chose to stay at Posada el Antaño. We had a great visit mainly due to the great acomodations and the friendly staff at this lovely boutique hotel. The rooms are basic but very clean and we enjoyed sleeping at night without the need for Air Conditioning; all we needed...

Stayed here with a group and the location proved to be ideal. Very central and near the main plaza and the Arco. Large rooms, good service. Breakfast could have been a little more diversified than the selections they had. I recommend it.

A group of us stayed here for a mission trip. The hotel is walking distance to most restaurants, museums, and shops. The rooms were very clean and the linens were fabulous. The towels were better than most of the 5 star hotels that I have stayed at. The grounds were well maintained and quaint. Breakfast was good, offering 2 choices....

Posada El Antano is a great value for your money in Antigua. The hotel is well located ,near Antigua's famous Arco. The rooms are clean, decorated in a colonial/rustic style and have a chimney and are quite spacious. I believe the breakfast can be improved as it is quite basic. The staff can make arrangements for pick up and drop...

I admit that I really tried to book inexpensive places on this trip, and most of our rooms were quite spare - so it was a real treat to stay at Posada El Antano. Our room was quiet, the beds felt delicious, we had a fireplace in our room and a skylight in the bahroom. The courtyard was filled with...

Location is great and hotel is really nice. It is a small hotel with wonderful staff who tends to your every need with no hesitation. The rooms are a good size and nicely decorated. The room rate includes a breakfast...you choose from a few menu options. Our airline, TACA, lost part of our luggage for an entire week. My husband...

Stayed at this hotel as a little overnight get away for myself. I chose it for a couple reasons, the location is good and I liked the rooms (as I saw on the website). I stayed in the master suite, with a tub for two (rare in Guatemala I think) large 4 poster bed and real fireplace. Bathrobes, WiFi and...

Posada el Antano is in a fairly good location, only one block from the Arco de Santa Catalina and its many good restaurants and shopping opportunities. The public areas are attractive and offer a respite from the noise of the street. The wireless internet is also a nice feature. However, I'd choose another place to stay the next time around...
