For some reason I just couldn't get along with the hostel owner. Possibly because of the language barrier, but either way all together for me was not such a pleasant stay. It's also about 30 min walking to city center.

We stayed here for 12 days and found the staff incredibly hospitable, always making us feel very welcome and like we were coming back home from a long day of exploring the beautiful Islands and National Parks of Croatia. There's a well equipped kitchen with an oven, a hob, a freezer and a fridge which helped us save money as...

This hostel is a traditional Croatian villa with few rooms, very clean, and a generous host and owner. It is half hours walk to the old town and 20 minutes to the beach. The wifi however is very spotty and slow and one night it was very loud near my room. Each room however has an air conditioner and many...

Wasn't expecting much. But very average and quite ideal if travelling. The buses run from over the road to the city centre. Highly recommend that the suggested bar crawl is given a go. If you like getting very drunk and a lot of free booze then it's a go!

Eros hostel is very far from the city center. It is at least a 30 minute walk or 15 minute bus ride. The owner was not very helpful or interested in giving tips for the city. The rooms were clean. The only bathroom on the floor had a broken sink and a sign above it implying that it should not...

It took us an hour of driving around to find it as it had no lights on and no sign. When we found it the door was open but with no light on and we were greeted by a strange older lady from a messy reception room who could not speak english. One pf my friends thought we should leave...

This is just a room for rent in someone's house. Laundry cost 5 euros (not dried) a LOT for Croatia. The guy was so obsessed with getting payment that he forgot to give us keys, and didn't stick around long enough to answer any questions. It's very far from the centre and not very easy to find. The bathroom was...

We were four spanish girls in a six people room . We arrived at 3.30 am and the friendly woman was there waiting for us. The hostel is a little bit far from the centre but it is easy to get there. There was only a bathroom and not very clean. It is a good option to sleep one or...

I had a clean room. The bathroom was cleaned every day. The owner was fine and he was capable of communicating in english. I had to pay 70 EUR for 3 night for a single room which was far the best price in Split.
