Villa Simoni is conveniently close to the ferry port and cruise terminal; within walking distance of the old town and across the railway tracks from the main bus station. We stayed there for 1 night, before departing on a week-long island cruise. The room was small, but sufficient for a 1 night stay. Simon was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.... More

Wanting something inexpensive and close to the bus (we'd be arriving in the evening by bus) and ferry dock (we'd be leaving by boat), Villa Simone seemed the perfect choice. And it was. Less than 5 minutes walk from the bus station, the shortest route is across the railroad tracks (perfectly safe; there are walkways and very few trains) and... More

I travelled with a friend to Split and we based ourselves at Villa Simoni for 6 days. We spoke to the owner, a young man called Simon, over the phone before we got there who advised us on the weather and activities to do while in the country. We also arranged an airport transfer with him which costs 200Kuna/26Euro. When... More

We were staying in Mlini, further down the coast from Split, but drove to Split for a day and a night there. We booked Villa Simoni the evening before via e-mail. Our drive to Split took longer than we'd anticipated - bad traffic outside town, and sudden heavy storms - so I called the hotel a few times to say... More

We wanted a hotel close to the ferry docks and bus station that was reasonably priced and clean. Villa Simoni delivered. The gentleman at the front desk was so kind, he changed our room from the third floor to the second to accommodate my 74 year old dad and then carried his suitcase. Not only did he carry it up... Fantastic apartments! Nice staff, very clean and with lovely bedrooms. Great location near Split's charming Old Town. The owner, Simon, was extremely friendly and could not have been anymore helpful! A top place to stay in Split!

Nice, clean hotel. Split Railway Station, Bus Station, Harbor and Old Town are all within walking distance. Many eating joints close by because of the proximity to the stations, however, the usual shady station crowd was not around, so that was a plus point. The guy at the reception was friendly & helpful with information. Rooms on the upper floors... More

Located to the east of the old town with about a 10min walk this is a good alternative on the more busy city center. The owners arrange parking just outside the apartments and are very helpful. The rooms are nice. We had a room facing the sea side on the 2nd floor with a small kitchen.

We stayed here for a week between 26th May and 2nd June 2016, paying £40 per night through Low Cost Holidays. It is ideally situated as the airport bus drops you off approximately 100 yards from the train station, and you can either cross the footpath and go through a gap in the fence or walk around, which is around...
