What should've been a 2 night visit in Split turned into a 5-nighter, and it's not just because Split and it's Marjan Park are amazing places to visit. Old town Hostel provided us with an excellent place to stay, right in the heart of Split, with cozy rooms inside it's apartment floor, wonderful people working the hostel and generously hospitable...

We ended to staying two nights instead of one as we loved it! They upgraded us to the private room as this was not booked out that night. The lovely lady behind the desk waited for us even though we got there at 11:30. All of the staff members were able to give us advice and had contacts for local...

This is a small hostel with a social and friendly atmosphere. It's very easy to meet people here. The location is great, right in the center of old town. Unfortunately, there's only one bathroom for each gender in the whole hostel. This leads to a long wait in the morning. The other problem is that the doors are very loud...

Prime location in the middle of old town. Nice rooms and very helpful staff who gave me great advice on both where to go for food and drinks. Would definately stay there again if I ever end up in Split.

Never enjoyed people more than here. Nice and lively although not so very big and anonymous as many other hostels. As you would expect, it is situated right in the heart of Split's wonderful old town. As good as it got.

I was in the big room next to the door so there was more morning foot traffic than I would've liked, but that's what you get with a hostel. It's worth it though, and the view of the cathedral bell tower was gorgeous. Plenty of outlets, good wifi, just know that you're sharing two bathrooms so time wisely. Chloe took...

This hostel is sooo awesome. Really located to the old town, initial plan just to stay 1night but end up 3nights! Chloe is such a doll, she showed us around and introduced us to some of her friends which is awesome. She also showed us a non touristy area to go enjoy the sea and we definitely feels like home....

This was the first hostel I'd stayed at - ever, but it was a really good experience! It can be a little tricky to find though! Everything in the palace is a short walk, so it didn't take long to get to other restaurants or to the oceanfront. This place IS small, but that does make it easy to meet...

The old town hostel is located conveniently in the Diocletian's palace in a residential apartment building. Rooms are small as what previous reviewers have said but are clean and not a problem. The biggest problem is the crammed corridor and proximity of common space to the rooms. Staff leave by 10pm and hostel go-ers are left on their own afterwards....
