Four of us have a short break every year, this year, we chose Split. Checked Tripadvisor for a reasonable hotel and chose Villa Diana. We arrived from the airport and were greeted by Matt. His friendly welcome and good humour set the scene. He gave us excellent advice what to do during our stay. He recommended a visit to KRKA...

My wife and I sent a night here and were very satisfied with it. It is a great location close (5 minute walk) to the Palace Diocletian. Parking was included as was breakfast. The staff are second to none. They can't do enough for you. They have a small outdoor restaurant at which we had a beer after checking in....

We have just got back from a long weekend to Split. We booked this through Booking.com after reading the great reviews and we weren't disappointed. We received an email a few days before we travelled asking us what time we would be arriving and if we needed a transfer so when we arrived before midday our room was available which...

Stayed here during a recent visit to Split. While this is not by any means a luxury hotel, you are treated as if it is. They think of everything from emailing you in advance to know your bedding preferences and need for parking to providing you with every detail you could want for your visit to the city. They even...

This is a lovely family-run hotel in a very central location, close to everything you could want during your stay. The staff are so friendly & helpful, nothing was ever a problem for them. Really wonderful! The breakfast was good too. The rooms are very clean & comfortable & we would certainly stay here again when we return to Split

This place had been a wonderful stopover in my road trip in August 2013, after the amazing and at the same time hard to drive route all the way along Albania, Montenegro and Crotia. I had a room just next to the reception with a big comfortable bed and cosy decoration. The ambiance in this little hotel was both joyful...

We stayed at the hotel three nights over Christmas. The hotel is cozy, clean and the owners are wonderful people who help you with any questions. At check-in ,they showed us the parking place and gave all the information about the hotel, the town, shops and restaurants. They made stay much easier. The hotel location is perfect! only a few...

Driving from Dubrovnik to Zagreb and wanted to break the journey. Hotel provides free parking but asks that you let them know in advance so they can reserve a spot for you. Hotel was very easy to find. Getting into the car park was a little tricky for us especially dark at night, so thought I'd post our experience here...

We showed up in the rain and parked at the wrong guesthouse right next door. The staff was super helpful with getting us to the right spot. When it turned out that they didn't have the right key to our room, they sat us on the patio and fixed a snack while we waited. The hotel itself is about a...
