The best thing about this hostel is it's location - right in the centre of the old town. It's also right next to the harbour for day trips to lokrum island etc. (the main harbour & bus station are an easy bus ride away). The hosts are friendly, and encourage socialising & drinking in the evening in the kitchen. The...

Ana's place is located in the heart of old town and is a small walk from everything. Ana is such a generous host and will treat you like a friend and mother. She offered to wash my towels free of charge and offers everyone free shots if you are looking for that. Luke and Kara also work there and are...

I absolutely loved my stay at Hostel Ana and couldn't give a better review! Firstly, location is excellent. Right in the heart of Old town you are amongst it all. The staff are wonderful and give you a very useful and thorough overview of all the amazing things to do in Dubrovnik. It is the best place I have stayed...

Arriving into Dubrovnik we agreed to the exorbitant price of €60 each for a bunk bed in Stella's dorm (their overflow facility apparently) and when I asked about the noise, was told that yes there was a bar nextdoor but that it would be ok and we would be able to sleep. This could not have been further from the...

Here are the good and the bad things in staying in this hostel. First, the good: 1.) Location is great, just off the main drag in Old Town 2.) Laundry is right around the corner, but you have to look close for it as they only have the sign up in the morning. 3.) The rooms are awesome, Ana is...

I can't say enough good things about Hostel Ana. It's so different than any other place I've stayed, and that's a good thing. First off, the location. You walk down the main street as you enter the city gates, and then turn down an alley that just looks remarkable, 12 seconds later you're at the door to hostel Ana. It's...

To be honest, my sister and I were a little weirded out when we first arrived at Ana's because it is unlike any other hostel we have stayed in. We typically go for the bigger, more established hostels with check in desks and defined procedures. Ana's is the opposite of that. It took about 10 minutes though for our opinions...

This place is absolutly amazing! Ana (and Maris, Mario y Matias of course) is so nice and helpfull! They will give you the best adress in the city, the good plan and everything! The nights (and the grapa) on the kitchen are so nice, there's a lot of respect and crazy people (in a really good term). And it's on...

We really enjoyed staying at hostel ana - from the friendly welcome to the late night grappa. When we arrived we were shown a map and given advice of where to go and not to go. As Dubrovnik is very expensive it is good to have local knowledge so as not to be ripped off as a bewildered tourist. The...

The hostel itself is recomendable. It is absolutely clean and Ana and his son make their best for its costumers. They offer you a range of discounts in different city restaurants and plenty of information about the city. At night, the kitchen/meeting room is filled by guest invited to drink some homemade wine and 'grappa' spirit. The only negative aspect...
