I decided to leave a comment on our last hotel as it exceeded our expectations in every single detail.

It wasn’t easy to decide where to stay in Dubrovnik, but what I knew is that I didn’t want to  waste my holiday time travelling to the best spots but to choose the best possible location.

Staying in the Old City means you are next door to the historical and cultural places, the best beaches, restaurants and island.

You may think that the strict center is noisy but with the hotel double glazed windows, it was peaceful  sleeping like on a desert island.

From the moment that reservation was done, we were contacted and offered assistance to make our stay memorable. We gladly accepted their transfer from the airport and later to the harbor and had no worries about porterage service as the hotel is situated in the pedestrian zone.

Our room was perfect size and bathroom was the real surprise …every woman will fall in love immediately as for beautiful ceramic, copper bath tub, separated  shower with perfect pressure and quality cosmetic.

What I need to underline is a cleanness in the whole hotel and beautiful soft, pampering towels and bathrobes in our room.

The reception staff was eager to help, advise and give very useful tips which made our stay much more rich than we would ever plan.

We have enjoyed a la carte breakfast with a wide menu of very tasteful dishes and we loved sitting on as square terrace having cocktails and fish dinners. The waiters were amazing!

The only ´bad thing´ was that at some point we needed to leave for a next destination… what is for sure,  will definitely be back to The Pucic Palace hotel with the family.

This hotel has surpassed all our expectations.

We have booked this hotel because of the perfect location in the middle of the castle of Dubrovnik. We did not expect to have commodities of the modern hotels however we had the best stay in Croatia.

They do not have a swimming pool but we were offered complementary lounge chairs, towels and umbrellas at Banje Beach just a minute walking distance from the gate.

The hotel is an easy stroll away from the gate. We were met by young and friendly bell boy who helped us with our luggage.

He showed us around during pleasant walk to the hotel. Hotel is in pedestrian zone and we were informed to call for luggage service.

We were welcomed with refreshing cold towels and lemonade.

Kind reception staff were extremely friendly and attentive.

They helped us with our rental car reservation as well as recommendations for local restaurants and bars.

On our departure another young man helped us with our luggage to taxi stand at the gate. It was like we were welcomed by own family.

And the breakfast…it cannot be praised enough. From young staff in waiting who were too kind and friendly to delicious delicatesses, orange preservatives, the fluffiest blueberry pancakes…poached eggs with avocado are to die for and that fabulous breakfast was included in our room rate . The best part is that the breakfast is served until noon – how civilized 😊

Rooms were very comfortable and furnished in classic style. It was slightly warm but considering the heat wave AC system was just fine.

Our room was very spacious overlooking side street. The mosaic tiled bathroom was very stylish with good water pressure.

I could not recommend this property enough, kind staff, fabulous breakfast, charming building and unbeatable location.

It was a real treat to all our senses. We will definitely be back!!

Room was excellent, we stayed at first at the room 16, top view, as we received the best attention from the staff, we decided to book 2 more nights at the Jr. Suite, all I can say it is the best hotel in dubrovnik.

Location is great, you can find everything you want to see in dubrovnik with a 10 minute walk, Game Of Thrones fans, you have walk of shame just around the corner.

Food at restaurant is delicious, poached eggs and avocado toast was my favorite dish.

Staff is great, everyone speaks English, front desk people are so kind.

If you go to Dubrovnik be sure to stay at the Pucic Palace.

This is a very convenient location in the heart of old town. It is a five minute walk from the gate to the hotel, but they will send someone to meet you at the gate and carry your luggage for you.
Hotel personnel consists of college age students who are polite and courteous to guests. The included breakfast is very good with various selections of plates, but you can also order a la carte based on your preference. We also had lunch one day at their restaurant, and their seafood plate for 2 did not disappoint.
We booked a King room for the 2 of us to experience old town for 2 nights. The room was small with old world charm enhanced by modern conveniences. The room did have peculiar smell every time we came back to the room, but I think this is typical of historic buildings and facilities. Nonetheless that was just a small negative point as I am sensitive to smells.
Excellent shower water pressure and a charming old world bath tub in the restroom area was a plus for us.
Step outside and you are in the heart of restaurants and shops. This was why we booked this place, and will return if we ever visit Dubrovnik again.

A chic hotel in the center of Dubrovnik with a very beautiful interior, reminiscent of a museum with incredible exhibits - all the details are simply gorgeous.

An antique-style room with a fantastic bathroom, you immediately feel like a princess in an old castle, an amazing atmosphere.

Breakfasts are delicious hearty, very fresh food. The staff is very nice and polite, always ready to come to the rescue or suggest an interesting route around the city. I will definitely come back again!

We loved our stay at the Pucic Palace! The location was a perfect base to explore all of Old Town and surrounding areas. The hotel was quaint and felt unique.

Our favorite part of our stay at this hotel was the staff. The front desk staff were so kind, professional and engaging. By the end we almost felt like family. Also, Vladimir in the restaurant was awesome. On just the second day he had remembered our preferences and catered the breakfast extras just perfect to our liking. We felt like we also became more familiar with Croatia through conversations with them all. After our stay here we stayed in Lapad for a for a few days. While the scenery was beautiful and hotel nice, we missed the personal and quaint nature of this hotel.

Also the breakfast was fantastic. We were able to choose anything from their menu. It was all fresh and delicious! We looked forward to breakfast every morning.

Wow what a fantastic place. The blonde lady on reception was a font of all knowledge about all of the amazing food places in Dubrovnik making us lots of reservations. The breakfast was fabulous each day! The rooms are great and the bathtub is fantastic. Some of the curtains were a little broken but still looked good.

Just a tiny idea that could make it even better- could you perhaps add some information about who the room is named after on the ‘welcome’ letter that is left on the bed? We did our own research about ours but it would be nice if guests could read about these famous Croatians and why the room is named after them- it would add such a special touch!

WOW is all we can say about this incredible hotel situated in the heart of the city walls. The customer service here is unparalleled and our concierge SONYA was incredible! From booking us dinners, to getting us ferry tickets, to recommendations, to upgrading our pillows, this woman took care of our group as if we were family! The accommodations are great for European standards with large bathrooms and spacious rooms. (We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite). The breakfast? Unreal! From a cheese charcuterie to poached eggs with avocado this was a 1st class experience all the way. We are avid travels and I rarely leave reviews. I was compelled to do so because of my experience at this hotel. Do yourself a favor and stay here!!

Upon check in, there were many issues. Once we got upstairs, we felt it was very hot in the room. The thermostat showed +28C. We were told that AC broken and there were no available rooms to move us to. Not to mention, the ceiling sunlight could not be closed. An extra rolling bed was stored right in front of our room door during our entire stay (quite odd placement). A main issue was the safe. When time came to opening the safe to get our passports and money it wouldn’t open and the master key couldn’t be found.
Four hours of our vacation time wasted on trying to fix issue. Besides safe was not installed properly and could be removed from the room anytime. Shower was clogged, as well. But this is minor….
We really had high hopes for this hotel but we were extremely let down!

Thank you for your question! We kindly suggest several options to choose from, depending on prices and vicinity of the accommodation. There is the Žičara parking lot in the near vicinity of the Old town( walkable distance)- pricing 50 kuna per hour, Hilton Hotel garage- limited number of places- 700 kuna / day, Public Garage Ilijina Glavica ( about 500-700 kuna/day, and there is parking lot next to General Hospital Dubrovnik, pricing about 300 kn/dayfrom where you need to take a bus or taxi to come to Old town.
