Excellent hotel with amazing views. Stayed here for 4 nights in August. It was very hot but the air-conditioning worked without no problems and there was always the see to dip into. Food at the restaurant was great and the staff very friendly. Would stay here again any time !

The hotel was well run with attentive and friendly staff. Breakfast was fabulous with a wide selection of food - fruit, continental and full cooked English Breakfast. The cave bar is worth a visit but we found the service wasn’t very good and used hotel bar facing the sea. A

Stayed here 3 nights with our teenage kids - very impressed. Location overlooking Lapad bay is amazing - we were given a corner room which was huge with similarly large bathroom and big balcony complete with sun loungers. Kids had a slightly smaller room next door with balcony.

Yes, there is a small supermarket store, down in Sunset Bay, turn left onto the promenade walk below the hotel, land it is a short walk (5 minutes), down to the beach area. The store is on the road to your right, facing the bay. There is also a larger store up on the main road in Lapad.

Well it is and it isn't! It is quite ingenious really. There is an original building and a glass walkway to the newer accommodation block. Hence 2 sets of lifts are necessary. The beauty and uniqueness of the hotel is both sides are built into a rockface giving stunning outlooks and a quirky experience where nowhere ever feels crowded and you can wander around at leisure. Every level is connected by the lifts, from the underground cave bar to the reception and roof bar. Logistics dictate that unless you are going to facilities which are straight up, you go to the 'joint' level and walk across on the level covered walkway to the other ( ocean view). If you are in the original building the only real time you need to cross over is to the Tramuntana restaurant for breakfast. Even then you can use the one lift to restaurant level and walk across the roof level instead. You can also use external steps in the centre for part of your journey if you wish (again ocean view). I believe the hotel sorted out a 'map' of the two lifts and crossover points after we visited last May. If you go on holiday to enjoy yourself you will have a laugh if you get it slightly wrong occasionally but you can always rectify it (or just ask!). When you are able to direct someone else, you have cracked it!. Just go, you will see for yourself and any worries you have about lifts will pale into insignificance!
