Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

From the minute we arrived Dever (hotel owner) was so helpful. He not only carried our bags to our room but as we were late arriving he also arranged for us to stay in the bar opposite for as long as we needed. The room we had was on the top floor. It was in excellent condition and had a superb bathroom with huge bathtub.

Me and my girl spent 2 nights. Location is fantastic , if you dont want to use car for going around. 5 min walk to center and sigtseeing. Breakfast is top, many different food sefserving, personel is very friendly. We miss a little bit bigger room, not enougt place to place luggage. We miss heating in bathroom, so AC heats from bedroom throug door to bathroom. Out room was in last floor, under roof, I imagine in summer can be very hot there. Terase is small but amasing view to old houses and roofs. I recomment to go to Epulon restautarant, good food and famous cat, friendly cat is good company during etating.

Really great little hotel. Room was small but adequate. Bathroom was large. Be aware, parking it tight and expensive around the hotel. Well worth reserving one of their spots. We also ate at the restaurant. Had the best black risotto ever. Would have been nice to have a house wine selection but it was till a great meal

Avoid this hotel. All night loud noise. Stray cats enter through windows, danger of infection. The cleaners come in early morning without knocking. The room smells of dampness. The owner is very unpleasant and aggressive. They charge for services they did not provide. Very bad experience.

Fantastic hotel. Recently renovated and it shows. Rooms are spotlessly clean. Everything is new and functions. Beds comfortable. The reception are fantastic nothing is too much trouble. Air con: penguins could stay in the room it's that good. Shower: fairly certain the amphitheatre 500m away is in ruins because it's been hit by the power shower. Breakfast: 100 KN. Buffet range of cereals, fruit, continental style meat, cheese, cooked eggs scrambled, fried, ham cheese toasties, jams honey, coffee. Ideal set up for a day walking the city. Location: Superb. Central to everything. But in quiet street. 10 mins walk from bus station. Get the 3 euro bus immediately outside the small airport of Pula. Stayed in room 3 single room. It's compact but has everything needs. Perfect for solo traveler. Paid 70 euro a night first week of August, was super lucky to find it in a sold out city. I'm booking again for Pula music week. Highly recommended.

There are so many things we loved about this hotel. Pros: - Location was excellent - Superb price for the location - Located within 8-10 minute walk of Arena, Forum, and with bus routes nearby to beautiful beaches in Stoja and Verudela - Reception staff were unbelievably helpful - Hotel was very clean - The restaurant (Epulon) across the street, which is part of the hotel, was fantastic and very reasonably priced - Air conditioning in the rooms was a life saver! - Comfortable beds - Tidy, well decorated rooms Cons: - It is only a small hotel and you have to carry your luggage up some stairs. This wasn't an issue for us, but older guests may need help. Honestly, I was so pleasantly surprised by this hotel and think that the staff made it a really pleasant stay. I would happily stay here again if I return to Pula!

This hotel was wonderful! And so was their food which used fresh products. The dishes were filled with simple yet elegant and powerful flavors. Their fresh olive oil was of very good quality, too. The rooms are nice and clean and neatly decorated. Staff were friendly, helpful and very welcoming. we want to give the staff a huge thank you for making our stay pleasant. We hope to see you again soon! Big hugs, Inggrid from the Netherlands

The hotel is located in the city centre. Rooms are renovated and very clean. Staff very polite and friendly. Across the hotel is the restaurant. The restaurant is very nice and modern. The menu is just right and the food is really good and tastefull. We upgraded our stay to half board and didn’t regret it. There is a hotel parking lot on the street nearby. All in all very good hotel. I would definitely recommend it.

I was on business in Pula and chose the galley. The room was too small for me and I could smell the sewage in it and it didn't look like in the pictures, only four TV programs were possible on TV and that's why I give three stars. Parking was free and breakfast was solid. The staff was friendly and everything was clean and tidy.
