Hotel has friendly reception and a decent selection at breakfast. Rooms are quite dated, stuffy, and dark, and the location wasn't convenient. It wasn't bad but if I were going to Zadar again I would choose something else, a little because the rooms were depressing, but mostly because it's a 45 minute walk from the beautiful old town.

We stayed 4 nights in Marinko. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is OK. So we got what we expected for the price we paid for the room. The beautiful Borik Plaza beach is very close to the hotel (only 5 minutes walk), but the old town is a bit far, we had to walk... More

The staff was very rude, especially the receptionist. Very poor English language skills. The room was dirty and dark, furniture basic. Breakfast was at the level of rural accommodation. The staff did not understand that I want good fried egg. Instead I got a half baked egg. It was not enough salami and cheese. We have had free wi-fi, but... More

I was staying with a group in this hotel. The rooms are small, and dark. My room was never properly cleaned and sometimes not at all. The food in the restaurant is not very good although the breakfast was decent. Finally since it is quite far from the centre, there is no reason to stay in this hotel.

I will always remember my stay at Marinko, because of the way we were treated... Like family! During our stay we regularly saw Marinko, a young waitress, a young chef named Mario, and an older lady who also worked the kitchen but lacked English. I loved the food, which stems from a squid ink risotto dish I had there that... More

I was meeting German friends at the Borik Marina to start a sailing holiday, so the location about 100 meters from the marina was perfect. This hotel is an attractive villa and girls at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. They even confirmed my Ryan Air flights for me. The rooms were basic but comfortable and quiet. The... Stayed here one night, plenty of parking. Stayed upstairs room over looking the garden. Room was clean and quiet big, the ensuite bathroom was clean with a good shower. The room did feel basic but for first night off the ryanair plane it was ideal. It is near the north side of the marine/coast walk to central Zadar. We chose... More

We chose this hotel because we wanted a one night stopover in Zadar Our friends had to change their room because on entering it had not been serviced Our room was small and I would not want to stay there more than one night. Breakfast was limited and I would have liked a Croissant and another cup of tea but... More

Got to the hotel and the receptionist was pleasant, helpful and new. Went to room and found no toilet paper, side lamp by the bed didn't work, the TV remote was broken, and the key got stuck in the door. The bed was uncomforable and the furniture looked like a mismatch of old garage sale stuff. We changed rooms and... More
