Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a hidden gem of a hotel in a beautiful city! The owner could not be more attentive, we arrived 6 hours before check in & he was very accommodating, we could sit by the pool etc until our room was cleaned (previous guests still in the room). The rooms are spacious & have everything you need, including pool towels. We had a large balcony which was massive & we could enjoy the afternoon sun on it with friends (we had the 2 large balcony rooms for 4 people). The minibar in the rooms are reasonable priced & there is a great supermarket about 200m from the hotel to get further supplies. There is a local bar beside it, which is cheap with friendly staff. The breakfast at the hotel is outstanding ….you have everything you could want & very friendly staff that cook eggs of your choice to perfection. The hotel is spotless, even with its cream luxurious carpets throughout…..we all said it was one of the nicest boutique hotels we had stayed in & it is very reasonable priced, it is a 30min walk into the centre (which is all downhill on the way in). We got an Uber both ways most nights due to the heat which was €5 each way (€20-25 for van to the airport each way). We would highly recommend this hotel, we will be back!

every day parties until late hours not allowing to sleep until 24 and longer .. eternal shuffling of chairs, eternal problems with tenants and the lack of anyone at the reception to report problems. for 5 days stays, the towels have not been changed once, which is unthinkable...... for me, the worst hotel I've been in for several years, I just don't recommend it if you want to rest. I strongly advise against

I have only positive opinions about this place: Very clean, cleaned every day and smells beautiful throughout the villa. Delicious breakfasts, great swimming pool. The most important, however, is the hotel staff, very helpful and the hotel owner turned out to be a very good man. Thank you for ALL

We loved Villa Liburnum, a smallscale B&B just outside of the centre of Zadar. It is about a 30 min. walk to the old town, downhill from the villa and uphill from the old town (pretty steep hill but you can also take a taxi with Bolt/Über for that part; -). Klaudio is very hospitable, the rooms are large, great bathroom with showergel/soap, large balcony, nice pool with sunchairs and shower. Good breakfast inside at the topfloor of the next building Mirabilis Residence, great views from there. Free parking spaces, great large beds, closetspace, carpet, airco, refrigerator, coffee- and tea facilities. Tip: visit the old centre of Zadar across the pedestrian bridge and go and have dinner at Pet Bunara, great place, great food for great prices! Tip from Klaudio!

Wir haben Zadar und die Villa Liburnum als Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung des Umlandes von Zadar und der Plistvicer Seen gewählt. We had a superb time @Villa Liburnum and would like to express our thanks to Klaudio and his entire team. We chose one of the bigger rooms (12) in the Villa and had a really nice time there. The room had a fantastic terrace equipped with two lounge chairs. Breakfast was included and abundant with freshly made eggs 'any style' in addition to the buffet. The hotel offers parking and will help you with organization of a taxi should you need one. Situated in a side street the location was nicely quiet and about 3 km from the old town of Zadar away. And - not to forget - there is a nice pool available for the guest too. When in the area well will certainly return!

The small private hotel is a real gem in the greater Zadar area! From the moment I stepped through the door, Klaudio, the host, made me feel more than welcome. He always was available for any request or help and had a bunch of useful tips. The room itself looked like newly renovated with a lovely and very comfy bed. The bathroom was also impeccably clean. The hotel is in a quite living area of Zadar and it is a 25 minutes walk down to the old town. My highlight in the morning was the breakfast, which was really outstanding....everything freshly prepared...any kind of eggs (scrumbled, omelette) prepared à l a minute on demand...pancakes for children, frehs food and a huge variety of healthy things....not to forget the very lovely breakfast staff (a great thank you to Jelena as it was like talking to a friend after 10 days that I spent there). The view from the breakfast room is amazing. After ten days I already felt like at home and would definitely stay there again. I cannot understand the negative reviews about the location and the distance to the old city because anyone who is booking a hotel can have a view on the map to estimate how far it is from the city centre.

I just spent 3 nights at Villa Liburnum with a group of friends. We are beyond satisfied with our stay. The place is so clean and so well maintained. Breakfast offered has a large selektion and is very tasty. The pool area is perfect, and the pool is even heated 👏 However the most amazing asset of this place is without doubt the owner. SO helpfull and a very nice person as well! We will be back !!!

We stayed for 7 nights in July 2022, everything was excellent, from the communication before we arrived to the service we received when there. Klaudio and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, without any hint of being intrusive. We opted for one of the rooms with the larger balcony, having the benefit of a large private outdoor space as well as the use of the very clean pool. The whole hotel appeared to be newly renovated, as although it has been open 10 years, all looked new. The hotel is not in the old town, therefore there was a very welcome breeze due to the elevated site. The included breakfast catered well for vegetarian and vegan guests. When we came up against a problem not related to the hotel, Klaudio was extremely helpful (not all hero's wear capes!) and very humble about his part in achieving a positive solution.

We stayed one night here, nice little hotel, room was very comfortable, as we arrived very early in Zadar they were very helpful in letting us leave our luggage in the hotel so that we could visit Zadar easily, breakfast was served in our bedroom and we were given a good choice for it. The hotel is a bit far from the centre of Zadar but if you have a car it is about a 15 minute drive, the owners were very helpful on where we could park. Also as it was April it was not as busy as it would be in high season so parking was easy to find.
