What to say other than that I had an amazing stay at Hostel Mare! The hostel is super well set up, with a very chill, artsy, and green outdoor courtyard and garden. It's close by everything you could need, from shops, to the center, and attractions a little further out. The owners truly go out of their way to make you feel welcome and are full of great recommendations to really make the most of out of your time in Šibenik, whatever it is that you're into. A big thanks again and looking forward to staying again the next time I find myself in Šibenik!

This hostel is run by a lovely local couple who really make your stay welcome. My roommate was ill and the owner made sure she checked up on him every now and then to make sure he was okay. Their friendliness and hospitality has made the hostel all the more enjoyable. The rooms are clean, simple and comfortable. There is no kitchen which was okay for me because there are cheap local restaurants and cafes just opposite as you walk out the hostel. There is a nice place to chill in the lobby and outside but no large common room or designated social area. This was okay because the location is FANTASTIC. You are right on the edge of the old town and you can step out and have an explore whenever you like, go back to the hostel to chill for an hour, then go back out. That was a real perk for me. The atmosphere and vibe is chilled, homely and social but not party. I made lots of friends here, going on day trips and for dinner with whoever I met in the hostel. It always seemed busy here which was really nice, but people were also considerate if you wanted to sleep. Perfect balance. I love this city, so I choosed carefully where should I stay. I went through Trip Advisor reviews and decided to go here and was pretty much satisfied. The room was splendid, everything was cleaned and was on the spot. Helpful staff, modern rooms and hallways, and the place is attractive from the outside, and great location right near the center of the city.

An excellent location in the center of historic Sibenik, friendly hosts, comfortable accommodation, a large reception area and a closed yard make this hostel ideal for shorter or longer stays. We enjoyed it, and we intend to come again.

We traveled to Šibenik and Hostel Mare in the beginning of February. We never go anywhere without our dog (cca 7kg) and had experienced cold dalmatian winter s before, so this were our top worries before the trip. But all our fears just disappeared when we came to Hostel Mare. First our hosts were great, the dog was no problem and our room was warm, because Neno called us and warmed it up before our arrival... So what to say, next time we travel to Šibenik, we know where we will stay ;-) Ps: Do go to Dalmatia outside the "season". It can be quite refreshing experience....

The first notable thing about this hostel is that is really clean! And the hosts are always welcoming and willing to help. They treat the tourists with respect, and always give short introduction and tips about the city, places in the city, attractive locations around the city. Near to the national park Krka,Shibenik is a really, they also have better prices then the competition

This hostel was nice and well located. It was close to the bus station and the old town. Facilities were clean and beds were comfortable. The only down side was that check in was at 2 pm and strictly 2pm! I arrived at noon and the door was locked so I couldn't even leave my bags at the hostel, I had to carry them around with me until the doors were unlocked at 2pm.

The location of this hostel is very good. Watch out for the parking. The parking of the hostel is actually the parking of the city that is free over night but has to be paid during the day. Very good service and a small backyard. Room was very tidy and bathroom was only used by our room.

Stayed here for two nights, the hostel was extremely clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful! They went above and beyond for me! The rooms were amazing and the air conditioning was great! Would definitely stay there again and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in sibenik.
