Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I came to Mostar had no reservation and just walked up to Nina's. They were so friendly and inviting. The facility is simple, cosy and clean. During my stay there had been an emergency in the Host's family, so they closed the Hostel, but they let me stay for another night, because they didnt want to kick me out. I am very thankful for that. The place is located 4min from the Old Bridge and they offer a Tour around Herzegovina which is guided by the Host's husband. We had so much fun. Thanks to the staff 😘 I highly recommend staying here

I was booked in for one night and then after jumping the Mostar bridge and hurting my knee I could barely move. I ended up staying for about a week, the family were so helpful looking after me, getting me food at the shops, running me back and forth to the hospital and getting fresh ice-packs for my knee. Would highly recommend for the hospitality alone. The room was basic but provided a bed and some well needed rest.

This beautiful family run hostel is a must stay when you come to Mostar. These ladies will welcome you with a beautiful, warm smile and make sure you have everything you need. Their day tour is highly recommended and their delicious breakfast means Hostel Nina is also great value for money. They have a fast and convenient laundry service, along a fabulous location, which means you'll honestly never want to leave!

There is no better way than to experience Mostar’s beauty and history than with hostel Nina. Countless times they went above and beyond to help us. This as well as the personal accounts given on the walking tour made this one of the best tourist experiences of my life. Paddy from Saudi Arabia

The hostel was literally across the street of the old town and a few minutes walk to the famous Stari Most. The hostel is located in a quiet residential area. The property in general is kept sparkly clean, even on a rainy day. Rooms have enough space and beds are comfortable. The number of toilets and baths are enough for the number of the guests they accommodate. The breakfast is fantastic, home cooked by one of the family members where they also share information and stories about the city. The price is absolutely perfect considering the location

Nice hostel, very clean. The home cooked breakfast was good, just a shame it’s only from 9-10am so you can’t have an early start to your day and also enjoy their yummy breakfast. This would be a great place to stay as a solo traveller as between the free evening walking tour (really interesting and a great compliment to “Free Walking Tour Mostar”) and the day trip (which we didn’t do but everyone who did seemed to really enjoy) there is lots of socializing with others. The reason this hostel doesn’t get 5 stars from us is the occasional lack of toilet paper and that at times it was difficult to locate someone to answer questions (or refill the toilet paper).

I wasn’t even staying at Hostel Nina but joined the hostel for their tour of Herzegovina and their free walking tour, and they welcomed me with open arms! The atmosphere in the hostel is electric and the staff of the hostel are some of the most hospitable and wonderful people you’ll meet. They really want to share their culture and go to great lengths to do so. The hostel run bar is also in a prime location and is sure to be a great night meeting fellow travellers. Highly highly recommend both staying there and doing all of the tours!

Totally surprised what I got for this price!! Amazingly clean bathrooms. What’s even included in this low price: several fresh towels, sheets, lockers with keys. Quiet place no noisy streets. Goood breakfast :)

I along with my friend from India visited mostar and stayed in Hostel Nina, well I just want to thank them that by staying here we made memories here forever, owner very generous and at par hospitality.they are old but salute to their efforts, I don't have words ,it's a home away from home. We reached mostar by bus and we hadn't informed in advance,I arrived at 06:00 am and somehow manage to call them,I wouldn't believe they picked us in next 30 mint Also everything here is best, from very near to stari most (the old bridge),I think 10mints walk,to everything in the house from breakfast to room condition,I mean they are doing there best . Also we took the day tour from them 30 euro per person,I think they cover all near by location and this is the best deal we found, and the guy who drove us ,we are totally impressed by that guy, really a genuine person I hope next time in mostar I will visit hostel Nina for sure And really believe me Mostar is a hidden gem Hvala With love from India. Hostel Nina was absolutely amazing. I have never meant hostel owners so accommodating and willing to help! They even cook you a home cooked breakfast in the morning, which was a great surprise ( I’m used to cereal lol). The owners were lovely and even took me running in the morning lol! I did the tour that Zika, the owner, offers with a group from the hostel. It was very informative and worth the money. I felt so at home and the atmosphere made it easy to meet people and enjoy my stay in Mostar.
