Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My stay was part of an inclusive special interest trip (birds and other wildlife). Between them, the tour organiser and the guest house owner, they had everything covered, including a beer in the fridge for when I arrived. Several beers, actually. Kinda like a low-key all-inclusive stay. Nothing was too much trouble and they made it feel like no trouble at all. Informal and extremely friendly. Ask yourself: how many hotel owners have you hugged on departure day? It's a guest house so the room was adequate, with a kitchen upstairs for almost anything, 24 hours a day. Help yourself. Continental breakfast out on the balcony patio . . . at 7am sharp, to suit the strict timetable of our daily trips out. Can't be judged on the same basis as a 5* hotel because the criteria are different but it does make me wonder about what I get for my 5* prices! (Thank you, Edin xx)

Family run GH with friendly host who speaks fluent English. Large room with comfortable bed, good shower and a balcony. Bonus of kitchen facilities for guests with fridge and tea/ coffee and biscuits provided. Delicious continental breakfasts served outside on the terrace. Good location, within 10 minutes walk of the centre, yet in quiet residential spot. Had a really enjoyable stay and the price is THE best value I've EVER experienced.

Really nice rooms at a decent price. Very good location, close enough to the old town. The staff/owner is very kind and pleasant. There is a private parking so it is very easy to get there. Clean and pleasant!

We stayed here last April (2015) and were very happy to return this year during a longer visit to Hercegovina. The guesthouse is clean and functional; everything works; there is good wifi; umbrellas available for guests; and our upstairs room had a small balcony with bistro set (table and two chairs) and a view towards the Catholic Campanile and the over-sized cross upon the hill beyond. The flat-screen TV shows mainly local language channels but also the English-language CNN. Breakfast was at a time of our choosing, and served at a small table for two just outside our room. We are vegan and the owner, Edin, always ensured we had plenty of choice at breakfast - three different types of bread picked up the baker that morning, non-dairy margarine, a selection of savoury and sweet spreads, fruit, salad, juice and Bosnian coffee upon request. Other guests have breakfast on the terrace outside. Edin speaks fluent English and Swedish as well as the local language, and is both helpful and unobtrusive. One can tell immediately that he is a good human being and I felt happy supporting his small business, and I do not hesitate in confidently recommending it to visitors to Mostar.

Very good accommodation, tucked away but near the heart of Mostar. It is comfortable and clean and we were looked after very well by the owner. Breakfasts served early in the morning to suit our schedule, right outside our rooms. The free wifi was much appreciated too.

We stayed for seven nights in this very friendly and comfortable guesthouse. Edin, the owner collected the breakfast fresh from the bakery every morning. It is centrally located in Mostar within easy walking distance of the old town.

This was my third time staying there. It is lovely, spacious and clean; close to the centre of town but not right in it. Breakfast is generous - more than one can eat - continental style. The warm welcome and the high standard ensures that I will stay here anytime I am in Mostar

We stayed at Pansion Liska as part of a Bird Watching Tour organised by Denis Bohm of Wild Heregovina. Denis certainly made the right choice in booking us in at Pansion Liska. The Pansion is centrally located in a quiet part of Mostar only 10 minuets walk from the old town with it famous bridge, restaurants and shops. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable all the rooms were on suite, air conditioned and had wifi connection plus a tv. Our room also had a small balcony overlooking the garden. There was a small kitchen on the top floor for guest use, prepair food drinks etc. The breakfast was continental style with warm fresh made breads, meats, cheeses ,fruit, jams, yogurts and eggs or if you fancied something different then Edin the owner would be very obliging and get it for you. Edin and his family were very welcoming and nothing seem to much trouble, he also speaks excellent English and is very informative. Yes I would definitely say at Panson Liska again when in Mostar

A little difficult to find, but as others have mentioned, turn into the gas station as there is a road alongside the gas station that will take you to the Pansion (on your right). Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is made to meet your requests (if you have allergies or preferences) and you can enjoy it on the little terrace under the shade of the trees. The host will provide suggestions on where to go, where to eat and is a wealth of knowledge about the area.

Stayed for 2 nights in this wonderful guesthouse. Edin is fantastic host - he allowed us to use his washing machine and even gave us a lift to the bus station. I cannot recommend this place enough. It's great value for money and very close to Mostar's old town.
