The location is the best in town. Rooms are huge and very clean. Breakfast is huge and really good. Everyone are super friendly. The only thing is there is no elevator and when you come with suitecase you have to clime stairs. We recommend!

Good hotel for overnight stay in town centre. The rooms were old but comfortable and well furnished. The bathroom was large and the bed was comfortable. Excellent choice s for breakfast included in room price.

The best place to stay in Sibiu. In the heart of the Historic Old Town, close proximity to a lot of historic places and as well to the shopping district. Service was excellent, starting with the two young ladies at the front desk especially Flori who was very accommodating with our requests. The breakfast was over the top, local cuisine... More

The hotel location is right next to the Council Tower, in the heart of the Old City of Sibiu. You couldn't have a better location for sight seeing. Reception is on the floor above ground level and guest rooms are there also, plus on higher floors (but no elevator). When I made the reservation (direct with the hotel) I asked... More

I must admit the hotel is right in the heart of the city, no better view possible. The rooms, however, are poor and the bathroom is missing any soap, douche gel anything..for a 4-star hotel. The breakfast is really poor, the don't have even bottled still water! They bring the water in a vase, how do I know that's not... More

The hotel is right on the most attractive square in the city where there are a number of restaurants and bars and within a short walk to the main sights. Parking can be a challenge in Sibiu but there are quite a few parking spaces within The square - at 2 lei per hour. The hotel sits right next to... More

It is located right in the square in old town so the location is great with lots of restaurant choices. Unfortunately, this has some drawbacks - relatively expensive parking, can be noisy until midnight. Another issue was the a/c is an in-room unit and quite loud. Before you pay for the parking in the morning, check and see if the... More

Very centrally located, we had the best room up in the loft area, could have fit 6-8 people in there. Wonderful stay with great service. The only thing was the breakfast was not as big of a spread as elsewhere in Romania.

We went to Sibiu for a long weekend and Stayed at The Council. The location was first class nestled in between the two main squares in the old town and amongst the restaurants. Rooms were tidy, we had two doubles which were separated one in a loft above and the second in the main room which suited our family of... More
