Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great location, great welcome desk, great room. Breakfast could be improved but great stay overall. The old town is walking distance and plenty of cafes and restaurants near by as well as pharmacy and grocery stores. Would highly recommend to stay here!

Great hotel in the best location. Very quiet location just 2 minutes from the main square, perfect to visit all the main tourist attractions. We stayed in room 23, which is on the top floor with views across the roof tops and to the mountains. Very bright and sunny room with no-one looking in on you, definitely recommend if you don't mind a few stairs. Staff were very helpful and all spoke excellent english. Breakfast good- toast, cereal, bacon, eggs erc. If you want english breakfast tea take your own teabags. Brasov itself is fabulous. Very clean, safe, friendly city with loads of great cafes and restaurants. Definitely visit Peles Castle and Bran Castle. Also go up in the cable car and enjoy a lovely walk down through the woods. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this hotel.

We were surprised for the better with this hotel. Our rooms were on the first floor. Dining room is in the basement floor but the food was very very good and sufficient. The location is perfect; two minutes away from the the main square. I wouldn't recommend looking for night life in March since every one closes early. Parking was a bit problematic, however . We had rented a car and it was challenging finding a spot. Lorand, Cali and Emmanuel made sure to provide thorough explanation about everything; they were extremely nice. Rooms were clean, spacious and pretty.

Cant' get any better. This is definitely a better option than local five-star hotels whic hare not what you would consider a 5-start in many countries. This on the other hand is better than 3-start standard in many countries. The maintenance and cleanliness is like the place was opened today for the first time. The staff is professional with excellent English. Breakfast is nice. Rooms have everything you need and are beautifully and thoughtfully designed. Location is unbeatable - 2-3 minutes walk from the main pedestrian mall in the old city, but very quiet. Highly Highly recommended.

The breakfast was ok, but the room was a bit cold.. there is only air conditioning as heat source. The TV was a bit old. The price is high for what the hotel is offering. The place is clean and the people are nice. The location is very good. An extra blanket would have been helpful.

I really wanted to like this hotel - it had everything going for it and the staff are what make it. They are all so lovely. I'd give it top marks for the lovely staff. But.... some of the facilities were really lacking and weren't what was promised in the description of the room. I'd paid for a 'deluxe' room but.. - There was very little toilet paper during our stay. (They topped it up but felt like we were given 'half' a roll each time?!) - There were never any tea/coffee sachets in the room although there was a kettle and lots of sachets of sugar. We were however, amply provided with shower caps every day which we didn't necessarily need. Teabags more useful :) - The bed was quite uncomfortable and the bedsheets kept coming off, so every morning I woke up having slept on the bare mattress...yuck! - I asked for the sheets to be changed on the last night of our stay (as it had been 4 nights) but the request was ignored. - No shampoo, although lots of shower gel. But there were lots of positives: - The hotel itself was lovely with a gorgeous courtyard and Christmas tree - The room decor' was fabulous - The hotel had a lovely smell to it and was clean. - Every single one of the staff were really friendly and kind. - Location was ideal - right in the centre of beautiful Brasov. I've given this 3 stars however because of the facilities.

Great location, great staff, great services! Even parking places are available on request ( otherwise almost impossible to find in Brasov ). 5 minutes walk from city center. Great historic house, nicely modified for accomodation purposes.
