Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very poor customer service. Our 16 people reservation that was made months in advance was cancelled with very few words said. I would not recommend making plans in advance for this location. It would actually be smarter to avoid it completly.

Lack of respect. Arrogant attitude. Road with work in progress status near the pension (difficult to travel without an SUV: although we announced that we were coming with a small city car, they did not inform us). They seemed overwhelmed by the situation, because they confused our reserved and confirmed rooms, informing us that we can go away if we don’t want a different room remained available (the only one remained), being almost forced to take it, with very small beds, built for children, even if we are adults and which has a different price in comparison with the reserved one. Outside it was also a storm ready to start and they didn’t care about our feedback - I do not consider this a proper attitude at all. The reservation was canceled with free taxes after a deept discussion, but there’s no positive opinion about this behaviour in front of the customers.

We've booked 2 rooms on the same day. Although the route to get there is not the easiest, once you get there, you enter the zen mode. The hosts were really nice (they've allowed a late check-in), the interior was decorated with an incredible taste and the garden - absolutely beautiful. A great place to just sit and relax.

Whether you are coming for a one-day or longer stay, I strongly recommend staying at Casa Moga. The location is ideal for a short stopover and sightseeing (rupestral monastery, Bucium monastery, Fagaras) or just as a relaxation in the middle of nature. here you'll find peace, very good food (home cooked meals) and nice wine as well. I should also mention the hospitality and warmth that you are welcomed by the hosts.

One of the most amazing places i have visited. Amazing hosts, great rooms, absolutely amazing food, beautiful garden and orchard and a common living room with comfy couches, tv and a pool table. Kid friendly, they even have a play area. A very quiet place with great views of the mountains from every room. Private parking included, free wifi. I highly recommend this place!

I travel around the world for more than 20 years and I sleep most of my time in business hotels. My local representative told my during a tour in Romania, that we will sleep in a local pension...I was a little bit surprised , but !!! The owners receive you in a real friendly way... The rooms are at the level of a good 4 stars business hotel. The food is so simple and cooked like at home. I spend my evening playing pool billiard and in late evening a dunk my glass of wine on the terrace looking to the mountains in the middle of nowhere. This is one of my favorite places from all over the world because it is so simple and bring you back to basics of life. I recommend to all of you travelling in the region to enjoy a moment like this.

We were traveling in the Carpathian mountains to several places of worship of our ancestors. One such place is in Sinca Veche in the county of Brasov and we got a recommendation to stay in Casa Moga which is a short drive away. We were wonderfully cared for with excellent homemade traditional food, tasty and nourishing. The rooms are just lovely overall and in many details. I cannot wait to go back there again.

From the small, unassuming village, you pass through the gate in to the lovely garden with views to the Carpathian Mountains. The garden is full of flowers, places to sit, a hot tub and views, views, views. Run by a lovely family, the welcome is warm, the rooms clean and comfortable and with spacious bathrooms. There are communal areas to relax, is all great.

I have spent to nights at this beautiful place. The rooms were nicely decorated, clean and with a big bathroom. It is a family run business, everyone was nice, kind and did everything to please us. The food was delicious, breakfasts rich with local goodies. During daytime we where doing trips in the area and they provided us with tasty pack lunches. Dinners always good, local homemade dishes. There is so much to do in the area: walks, monasteries, watermill etc! Recommended, if you'd like to relax and get away from daily stress and rush!
