I stayed a month at the hotel and the experience was brilliant. I feel I must highlight a few of the staff on my last trip as the attention I was given was exemplary.

Mr Rafique Ahmed at the guest lounge was a great member of staff that always made me feel welcomed and his hospitality and professional service was absolutely great, he paid close attention to everything and made sure the quality of service was always top level.

Mr Mohammed Naeem Shah was also at the guest lounge and took care of all my requests and made sure I was happy during my stay at the hotel. His attention to the guest’s requests and professionalism was always very welcoming and refreshing.

Mr Abdul Mueed at the front office was also one of the hotel staff not to be forgotten as he too took great care of myself as a guest and made sure that the high standards of the hotel were constantly met.

Finally Mr Noel Reched that made sure the quality of service and the dinning experience was one of the best I have every experienced at any hotel, he is to be congratulated for his dedication.

The attention and care received by these members of staff have ensured that when I return to Karachi I will only stay at this hotel.

I have recently visited Movenpick to attend Workshop and I tell you what that New furnished lobby area is quite good and spacious.

In Break, I had a chance to visit my colleague room who came from other city to attend this meeting. He stayed in Classic Room, cleanliness of the floor & room seems good and also new outer look was amazing.

During meeting program food served was freshly delicious I must say that everyone has to give a try to AlBustan restaurant.

At the moment the only improvement area according to me is banquet carpets need to be change

Will visit soon to attend next meeting.

Best Regards
M Ikram

Recently visited Movenpick Hotel Karachi to attend 3 Workshops on Launch of Selanz & other department of Medicines.

Accomodations provided by the hotel were comfortable for all team members and food served during meetings was fresh and delicious. Hygiene was also mantained.

I will surely visit again and recommend it to others as well.

The hotel staff is extremely courteous and helpful however the hotel is badly in need of a major renovation which is not being undertaken as the owners seem only interested in making money in a city of over 20 million where there is virtually zero competition in the hotel business. The guest rooms not renovated are shabby and the toilets frequently get clogged. Dining facilities and the restaurants again need refurbishment and repairs which is not being done. Hotel is benefitting from first rate cheap labour but not willing to invest in anything in terms of money. There are only 4 tiny elevators in this huge hotel and in the morning their are long queues. Two are now shut and only two are working. If you are not quick you may get crushed in the elevator doors. The check in and the check out is the worst part which can easily take up to 30 minutes each. Left my business card at the time of check out with the duty manager with a request for the GM to contact me who never bothered.

I made my reservation directly through the hotel. The reservation manager had promised me a classic king room. However at check-In they allotted me a classic twin room. Upon calling the reception to change my room I was only given false assurances to wait before I went down the lobby asking to change the room ASAP as I had to get ready for a meeting afterwards. The person at the reception had his excuse ready. He said that my concern are noted & they’ll transfer me to the king room once they get free with checkout procedures of other customers. I kept waiting & never received any call throughout my stay. I was so disappointed with the service that I didn’t even bothered checking out in person rather did it on a phone call.

The room itself was spacious but had an odd smell of some disinfectant spray which could be ignored. The twin beds were comfy. The room had a large smart tv with a good wifi connection. An electric kettle and complimentary water bottles were provided. No fruit basket was available. The bathroom had well stocked amenities but the towels weren’t clean and had stains on it which under the covid safety protocols must be looked urgently for customer safety.

All in all the hotel needs to do better to provide a good customer service with a good value for money.

In my opinion the overall quality of hotel is below satisfactory bcz of following reasons:
Mostly remaining food is also served in next day buffet.
Fruit bucket served in room is poor quality. I hv made video to share if required.
For two person only single plate is given.
No lifeguard available for swimming pool.
I think these observations are enough to make some sense.

I was visiting karachi last month for a business meeting and a friend suggested to stay at Movenpick. I'm so glad I listened to him. Top-notch ambience, great people, and brilliant services. It was worth every single penny. Also, if any of you decides to make a reservation (which is highly suggested) pick their Executive Room; it has got everything and try dinning at "The Pakistani" for great local food.
Overall it was a 10/10 experience. Would love to stay there again.

The Movenpick is a bit of a fortress, like most of the large international hotels in Karachi. Several layers of security and large blast walls around the perimeter. It is a large, fairly soul-less corporate hotel which has a number of restaurants within the safety of its walls; the Chinese one is very reasonable. It is possible to get some alcohol here, but you have to go up to the cigar lounge on the 9th floor to avail yourself of a limited number of drink options.

This time we have visited along with all family members as we weren't been to any restaurant during Pandemic lock downs.

Movenpick is maintaining good safety and hygiene standards for guests/visitors well being during their time in hotel.

Upon recommendation of Mr. Sheikh Bari we opted for The Pakistani Restaurant and I tell you that an amazing food served within good time and staff presented and served us very well.

Thumbs up for Good food quality and a must try for Desi food lovers.

I had an opportunity to stay in this hotel from 16th Feb. till 26th Feb . Here are the few things I wanted to mentioned which I believe very important . No.1 at front entrance at valet they have 5ppl who assisting you to open doors for your and greeting in hope of getting tips which really make me annoyed. That’s need to be addressed and limited to one person to assist . No.2 room bathroom have not enough lighting to or vanity lights to do shave or any women can do her make up . No.3 random knocks on your room door everyday from housekeeping to ask how are you doing anything you need in a hope of getting a tip. No.4 housekeeping can come anytime and enter in your room if you don’t have do not disturb sign placed outside your door . No.5 they need to do good pest service to prevent roaches coming out from shower drainage . No. 6 at breakfast they have exactly same items everyday which makes me doubtful that they keep using same food everyday . I have not seen any change in their breakfast menu for 10 straight days .staff is very courteous and attentive . I would rate this hotel 5 out of 10 . With my overall experience .
