Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This hotel is excellent. We came to Luang Prabang for a quiet holiday. The hotel surroundings are beautiful, centred around a lotus pool with a few geese. The breakfast is served outside by the side of the pool and has a good variety. My Chinese wife could have her noodles and I could have my Western breakfast at the same table. We had one other meal while we were there, which was good and reasonably priced. The bill was charged in US dollars, and they wouldn’t take Visa, but they accepted Chinese yuan. The room was very comfortable, although a lizards nest seemed to be in the roof above our door. They came out in the evening, but as long as we kept the door and windows closed they couldn’t get in. The hotel was about 15 minutes walk from the end of the night market, which suited us fine, because we wanted a quiet location. There is a supermarket across the road where you can buy essentials and some souvenirs (coffee, tea etc) slightly cheaper than the tourist markets. The staff were very friendly, and made us feel very welcome, although they couldn’t change money. We enjoyed our stay very much and would have no hesitation staying here again.

We loved this hotel as we was able to get the full flavour of Laos staying here. We loved seeing kids play in the streets, even when it got dark, this made the environment felt very safe even though there wasn't much street lights on the roads.

The staff were always smiling, we had to ask to borrow an iron but it was then delivered to our room. We liked the breakfast here as it gave us a taste of local breakfast. We had set menus for 2 days followed by a breakfast buffet.

Parasol Blanc is a majestic oasis with it’s natural flora. Everywhere you look is a picture but a picture can’t capture its beauty. You can have a delicious American or traditional Laos breakfast that’s included with your stay. The rooms are so clean with cozy comfy beds, cloud-like pillows and super cool air conditioning not to mention nice hot water with a rain shower and lots of water pressure. What strikes me the most is how accommodating, helpful and super kind staff. Always there to help you and offer advise. The best hospitality we have experienced on our travels. We had an amazing stay.

What can I say this place was excellent!!! The staff were knowledgeable, accommodating and so very kind. Spoke excellent English too. Our room was so clean with a working air conditioning and the shower was fantastic-with hot water, lots of pressure and it was one of those rain showers !! Breakfast is in an area that is so quaint and the food was delicious. Thank you Chang for all your recommendations, they were spot on. A beautiful place to stay, close to all in Luang Prabang Laos.

Normally I am not the person who don't like to write the hotel reviews.
But this hotel is my top choice in all my trips.I had marvellous days at this wonderful hotel. So much choice of accommodation in Luang Prabang but I made the right one.
Location is 20 minutes easy walk into town, or the hotel has available bikes to rent which is even easier.
Rooms are generously proportioned and well appointed.
Nice balcony looking to huge and beautiful garden. Walking down to the restaurant overlooking the lily pond was always a pleasure.
Breakfast was varied, generous and delicious.
This hotel is extremely well managed, that I'm sure.
You won't regret choosing this hotel.

I was lucky enough to stay at Parasol Blanc for my visit to Luang Prabang. I can not say enough good things about this hotel! The service was exceptional. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The restaurant overlooks a beautiful lotus pool that is home to a family of ducks. My favorite thing about the hotel were the complimentary pedal bikes that made getting around the city fun and easy. If you are ever in Luang Prabang, I highly recommend staying here!

I was there with my family for 2 nights and we had a great experience. The hotel staff was very friendly and assisted us with all the information we needed. Most of the staff can communicate in English and it's within walking distance from the Night Market. If you take a tuk-tuk from the city centre, it's just Kip 30,000/- which is 1.5 USD. The room was very comfortable, including amenities. The morning breakfast comes with many varieties and the service of the restaurant staff is also good. We had a nice time there and wish to be back in this hotel whenever we visit Luang Prabang again.

We had a wonderful stay at Parasol Blanc Hotel. The staff is heartfelted friendly and outstanding helpful, just amazing! Great breakfast, lovely located at the little lake in the resort. Spacious room, all time clean and tidy. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, within walking distance to the city center but quiet and peaceful for resting at the pool during daytime. We also used the free of charge bicycles as a good alternative to walking, and sometimes took a tuktuk, which is always a cheap option to get around. When we come back to Luang Prabang, we will for sure stay at the Parasol Blanc Hotel again.

Ok, it’s about a 15 min walk to the center of the night market. But having said that, it’s a great hotel, with great staff. The bed was also one of the best we’ve had in Asia.
There is free bikes to rent and a tuk tuk taxi fists about $2.50 so it’s not much.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Parasol blanc: spacious room with balcony garden view, good service at Reception, and a lot of small touches that made the place different: Lao brand coffee in room, personal welcome letter, and all plastic bags replaced with nice fabric ones.
We loved the BBQ in the garden on our second night (had to book on arrival).
Finally they were finishing the construction of their swimming pool and we were the first Guests to try it.
