Ok place, nothing cosy about it, just a place to sleep in. The staff tried their best. Big rooms. Not so good location, on the side of the city and in middle of construction work. Not good breakfast. For the 17 €/night (private room) we would unfortunately not recommend this place, for the same price you get much more in... More

We paid for two beds in a dorm. The AC wasn't working and the staff didn't do anything about it (actually, they just laughed and left); there were only two bathrooms/toilets, which didn't have any toilet paper most of the day; the beds were rock solid (personally, I don't mind, but...) Again, it is a cheap hostel, I have no... More

I loved this hotel since it was cheap. There is nothing I expect more than a bed to sleep and a fan for a room that cost less then 4 USD a night. The staffs are kind and breakfast was ok. It is located close to the night market and an bike rental shop.

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the night market/ centre of town. The hotel staff don't really speak much English. The room that we had was very large with a queen size bed. Only problem with the bed it still had the plastic bag on it that are use as protection when then are being shipped. The... More

I stayed in the dormitory and it seems a lot of others had similar experiences. The mattresses are only good if your body contains no bones and they have so many bugs I thought David Attenborough was going to creep in during the night and start commentating. The location is pretty good as you can watch all the bikes racing... More

Can't remember how much I paid but it was not much. Got a single bed in a 10 bed room which was nice not to be a bunk the first stay and a week later got a bunk in a 20 bed room! First stay owners were lovely but in the week I was away it changed management (to a... More

One of the more budget places in Luang Prabang but we were not disappointed. Nicely located on the main road in the old quarter we were able to wander easily to the main attractions and restaurants. Staff were friendly and even included breakfast (a backpackers dream)

This place is well located. Breakfast is included and good. Nevertheless, the English of the staff is quite limited. Also, I booked a sleeping bus ticket the day before leaving and it turns out that the hostel hasn't booked anything for me : when I arrived at the bus station we gave me 10000k back "to buy some water" but... If you're not fussy about your bed not being comfortable enough or the small serving of breakfast and only looking for cheap place to stay, then this is the place. I paid 5USD for one night. The people who manage the place are friendly tho :-) I still recommend the place!

We are an Internationally staffed hostel located on the main street in Luang Prabang, only a 5 minute walk from the night market and 15 minutes from Utopia, the airport and bus stations. We have completely refurbished Dorm rooms as of September 2014. These dorms range from 6 bed female en-suite, 10 bed, 14 bed and 16 bed(has a balcony). All beds come with a locker, a power point and reading light and come standard with air condition and WiFi. All guests get a delicious free breakfast. We have a range of private rooms, twin, double, triple. All come with mini-fridge, A/C, Mosquito net, TV with Cable channels, toilet and shower with hot water. We have just opened up a brand new movie room(with A/C) featuring up to date movies and TV shows, the perfect way to relax after the party atmosphere of Vang Vieng and Thailand. We do daily, affordable tours to Kuang Si Waterfall and our knowledgeable staff can help you plan the rest of your trip around Laos and Asia. We also supply bus tickets and tours, laundry service, towel rental, guest computer and printer(free to use) etc. We have a puppy named 'Lana', who can get a little hyper, but if you're a dog person, you will love her friendly, playful nature. Please keep this in mind when booking if you have a fear of dogs, as Lana is always around the reception area and 'playful' is just a code word that she will jump up on you. She is very friendly and has never bit anybody, she will however enjoy chewing on your bracelets. We have 24 hour reception so you don't need to worry about security, or been locked out at night. If your feeling artistic, we would love you to leave your mark on the hostel and we can supply paints and other benefits for anybody willing to put in a little bit of time and effort. ... more   less
