We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Nice designed room with a great view over the city. The pool area is inviting for dinner in the open air. Ask the friendly staff to set up a table for you there. The hotel offers a nice breakfast with a wide choice of dishes.

We were originally here for three nights but due to ‘Coronavirus’ we were not allowed to travel on to Vietnam as planned so had to stay another three nights...not much of a hardship as this is a stunning location, stunning hotel with great views sadly the views got less day by day due the locals burning shrub-land and creating a smog.
Which is what happens at this time of year (March).

Did not worry us too much as there were hardly any people about and it felt a little like exclusivity.
The rooms were very clean, changes everyday, water provided daily, one comment is the little cakes they put in the room at turn down should be left till replacing the next day, in our experience if they were not eaten they were removed in the morning room service, it would be nice to enjoy them in the afternoon.

The pool area is fantastic, 360’ views, pool bar and happy hour twice a day!

Restaurant food was a great choice of curry style dishes, Traditional Laos food and burgers and pizzas.

All the staff are so friendly, polite, attentive and a credit to the hotel, I know how hard it can be to get motivated when it is so quiet.

There is also a free shuttle bus down to town more or less every hour, last one back is 10.15 but we used the local Tuk tuk’s if we were later than that and they are cheap.

The hotel is located outside the centre, up on a hill. If I was visiting the city more than 2 days, looking for a poolside vacation I would definitely choose this one. Yet, I would prefer to stay in a boutique hotel close to Sakkaline Road cause all the attraction is in that area. The restaurants, boutiques, cafes and night market! It is very lively and full of European people as well.
The hotel was nice, very big and spacious rooms yet full of mosquitoes in the room! The breakfast was ok, the free wi-fi was working properly. The mini fridge in the room is so loud, I had to unplug it at night. The manager kept reminding us not to take the laundry bags and slippers (there were 2 types, flip-flops and towel slippers) form the rooms a couple of times. I found this disturbing to be honest! The towel slippers are supposed to be used 1 time only, that made me think that they were not hygienic.
There are free shuttles every hour that will take you to the city but also tuk tuks (app 7-10 usd)

Dear Mr. Aysgu, Many thanks for your review here and the feedback, delighted you loved the hotel, pool and the view. apologies for the Mosquitoes if people open the door for a period of time the Mosquitoes do venture in. we have a vector control program twice per month for the hotel. we will look into the Refrigerator - it has been planned for us to change them in 2020. in regards to the slippers and Laundry bag, they are not free and this is indicated in our compendium. I would not dare enter someone's house and remove items without asking is it free or do we have to pay, as hotelier its justified to explain and educate Guests. the amount of Laundry bags with our logo on are removed so many times. slipper are washed and hygienically cleaned and sterilized. Thank you Once again Best regards, John Morris Williams General Manager

Stayed three nights as part of a NAtGeo G adventures tour. The hotel was excellent. It was clean, the staff could not have been more helpful. A short van ride from the town center, the hotel has an hourly van running back and forth. (if they're not busy, you might let them know or call from town when you will need them).
The dining area is exceptional as is the bar for cozy environment with outdoor seating if weather permits. It did permit while we were there.
The pool is beautiful and there was pool service during operating hours. Our group actually ate at the pool one night. The staff brought enough tables for the 16 of us.
The hotel is a little too far to walk to the town but you have the van and a tuk tuk ride is only a couple of dollars, US, as I recall. Negotiation required. If you don't feel like it, it is still reasonable.

On our way to Vietnam from Thailand, we decided on a stop in Luang Prabang. Faced with a myriad of choices for accommodation, we picked this property. Beautiful setting. Very nice rooms. Extremely helpful and pleasant staff. And Breakfast included! Not located in the heart of town, it nevertheless offers an hourly shuttle, and even if you miss it, a tuk tuk only charges you a few dollars. No reservations in recommending this property.

We didn’t stay at this hotel, but we came as external customers to rent the swimming pool for the day. It’s only $5 per person and you can stay as long as you want, and you can also eat the food from their menu which was actually reasonably priced!
The swimming pool area and changing area is beautiful, extremely clean and well maintained. It was very quiet when we went too, and most of the time we had the pool to ourselves. There is filtered water available, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the sun beds are comfortable.
Would absolutely recommend for a downtime day trip!

Exceptional Service in the heart of Luang Prabang Laos.

This is my first time to visit this amazing and gorgeous hotel and it did not disappoint me! Oh boy! From the moment they pick up us from our location to the hotel I already felt the warmest welcome by Ms. Vanh and when we arrived Mr. Khoun the Asst FO Manager welcomed us with refreshing drink and refreshing towel. I would like to commend Mr. Khoun for the best service he showed to us during our stay in LPB View Hotel. Kudos to Mr. Vong and Ms. Kor of Cafe Bar for the great service as well! Ms. Kor (sorry If I forgot your whole name) will welcome you in the breakfast area with full energy, that you will feel immediately that you will have a great start of the day. I would also love to give thanks to the Chef who personally meet us during our lunch in Cafe Bar. If you want to have the best Lao Cuisine you should go ahead and try their resto! I recommend Khaipen, Laarb, Neum Jeun and the Chicken in lemongrass stick! Also I love the Oriental Beauty drink made by Mr. Vong!

Your home away from home! Again, Thank you team LPB View Hotel for your excellent service. The management must be lucky to have a great team!

We will come back and will see you again!

Love,
Kissa from the Philippines

View Hotel is top notch. The view from the swimming is amazing and the pool is great too. Pool side drinks available if you want. There is a small fitness room (treadmills/bike/cross trainer and some weights). My room (which I shared) was huge. 2 double beds, heaps of storage, 2 basins, coffee pod machine (new pods daily), fruit bowl, TV, fridge - everything you could think of really. There is golf cart type of shuttle for around the hotel grounds if you need it. Free shuttle on the hour to town and pick up as well. The staff are very attentive, helpful and gracious. The breakfast is great - big selection of Asian foods/eggs to order, cereal, toast, coffee, fruit - great way to start the day. Meals and drinks are more expensive than in town as you would expect. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to town if you want to. A great place to stay with the best of service

Hotel is absolutely sensational. Luang prabang view. 5* in my opinion. Breakfast was lovely especially to sit outside and look at the view. The views are amazing from this hotel. Could have been more attentive at the pool for drinks but it was fine really. Everything was clean, the room was huge, the staff were really friendly. They topped up the water constantly. The food at the hotel was delicious for dinner. We had duck curry which I'd highly recommend if you didn't want to go out of the complex as was barely $10. Yummy. Cocktails were good. Had an espresso martini. The pool was so warm and fancy. I absolutely loved it, the beds were nice and towels were provided. They put umbrellas up if you needed shade though they were easy to put up ourselves.

They have a good and free transfer from the airport and to the city center (7 am to 22 pm very hour). You can book it easily by the receptionist or by WhatsApp. The manager Khoun took great care of us and made us feel to be welcome guests and we felt very comfortable when we come back to the hotel.

No it does not. But you can get a taxi from the airport for $11 USD to the hotel (which is what we did) and going back to the airport from the hotel, you can get a taxi from the hotel for $19 USD or take a tuk tuk for $7 USD (which is what we did) and it was great! The hotel called the tuk tuk for us. Enjoy your stay!
