My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights over the New Year period. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the room was very large (we took their only available room left, which was a triple with a balcony :) ). The guy that runs the place is very friendly, as are all his staff - particulary the waiters/waitresses who...

Aham Corner Guesthouse (Aussie Sports Bar) is centrally located in Laung Prabang, 15 minutes from the airport, walking distance to the center of town, surrounded by bars and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable, clean and serviced - with air conditioning, fans and en-suites. We stayed in the guest house with 10 young people for a week and received warm hospitality...

The "Aussie Sports Bar" hides a very comfortable, clean and very reasonably priced guesthouse behind the scenes. All the rooms are spacious, very clean, airy and most importantly (for me) have TV with the Australia Plus channel there to keep in touch with events in OZ. There's also cable channels for other expats such as BBC, German and USA channels...

The title says it all. Personally this is the best place for Westerners in Luang Prabang. The room is clean, well-equipped; great food made by a Aussie; cold beer ready anytime and a helpful team of staffs.

Aham guesthouse was a great place for three Aussie mates to stay. Our hosts John and Jenny were fantastic and made our stay the best. We found the rooms surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Reverse cycle airconditioning and ensuites topped it off. John and Jenny arranged tours, cooking lessons and even our laundry. Great staff, cold beer and great Aussie food...

In the beginning, I planned to stay in Laos for only 1 nights during my Southeast Asia trip but Luang Praban and Aham Corner tripled it - 2 nights in Luang and 1 in Vang Vieng. Fantastic services, helpful staffs and good amenities at a good price - what more can I ask for? Definitely comeback again when I have...

My mate & I stayed here in May after riding motor cycles up from Vientiane. John (owner) secured our bikes out the front, as he had a night watchman on duty. This business in in a great location, and you can walk to any attraction located in the city. Rooms were great, with lots of space, and AC. Food and...
