We stayed 2 nights at Indigo House. The service at the front desk was really nice and professional. Our room (Relax) was on a lower floor making it easier to carry luggage as the hotel does not have an elevator. The room was nicely decorated and furnished. There was also a welcome fruit platter and drinks! We were quite impressed.

The hotel is in a central location, right on the main street and the night market. You can easily walk to all the main sights from the hotel. It wasn’t too noisy in the evening but not totally quiet either.

Breakfast was included with the room and features both Western and Lao options. If you’re looking for a comfortable place in a central location, you can’t go wrong with Indigo House.

Indigo is fantastic. The room I stayed in 'Peace' was great. Clean, big bed, TV, small fridge, kettle, roomy with space to hang your clothes etc. Bonus was the bath! Can lay in the bath and watch TV if you want. This room was also perfect as it is at the rear of the property making it very quiet. I asked for a rear room as the hotel fronts onto the night markets which operate every night of the week till 10pm so ask for this if you don't like noise. Safe in the room as well.
It is a great location as well - walk to all the main sites. The breakfast supplied gives you a few choices - I had the Indigo House - eggs, toast, juice, coffee, mushrooms, and bacon if you want it. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.
Recommended and would stay again

This property maybe has 12 rooms. Our room was called "Peace."
Key entry (no key card). Felt like a Moroccan Riad. No elevator access. Room was clean but bathroom was wide open in the room, meaning there was no door or anything separating the shower/tub from the room. Just out there in the open, willy-nilly!
Breakfast was good, small buffet style with a mix of western & asian food.
There is a cute shop towards the back of the reception area with handicrafts made from local villages.
It was the perfect location as the night market is only a step outside and a food court across the street. The monk Alms Giving is just at the intersection, temples down the road, and mount Phousi is also walking distance.

Staff was friendly but didn't go out of their way.

1. Location: On one of the main streets of Luang Prabang, easy access to sites, cafes, restaurants, and shops. At nights, the Night Market is at the doorsteps, which can be seen as a convenience, or an annoyance, as the street then becomes closed to traffic.

2. Rooms: Large and spacious. Comfortable beds, great air-conditioning, and separate bathroom and toilet.

3. Staff: Very welcoming and made to feel that stay was very comfortable.

4. Amenities: Great breakfast in Indigo Cafe, and lovely rooftop bar with great view of streets.

Stayed here for two nights in February 2024.

Pros:
1) The location is great. You can walk to all the attractions in the town within 15 minutes.
2) The night market is bang in front of the hotel.
3) The hotel has a rooftop restaurant and the food is decent.
4) The front desk staff speak good English and are very courteous. The check-in/check-out process was quick.
5) The Hotel has a good, efficient, cheap laundry service.
6) The WIFI is free with good connectivity and speed.
7) The hotel rooms/bathrooms/lobby area are all well maintained and clean.
8) The hotel rooms are very tastefully done. They are comfortable.
9) The front desk helped us arrange all our transportation needs.
10) The hotel has an excellent breakfast. And it starts reasonably early.

Cons:
1) The place is a bit noisy at nights.
2) We stayed in two different rooms and neither had a private bath area.

I stayed here from 12Mar to 14Mar2020. This boutique hotel located in the old town. It is about less than 15 minutes from LPQ airport.

I was booked on Deluxe Balcony room, it's about 35sq metres which is spacious. Bed is very comfortable. Room is clean. Separate bathtub and toilet.

There is no lift in the hotel. This hotel is very convenient located in the old town. Where you can walk to main objects in the old town. In the late afternoon, the street in front of this hotel will be closed and there is a night market in front of this hotel. The night market occupies 1km the street. If you want to see Alms Giving ritual, it is about less then 4 minutes walk from this hotel.

I love to stay in this property. The people here made me feel like home. Their genuine hospitality was really made me wanna come back again. I would like to thank to Dao, he has helped me from the moment I booked till I checked out. He is really a star. His g
is adequate with tasty food. Mixtures between western and local foods.

I will sure come back again to this property in Luang Prabang.

Right in the heart of the Old Town.
Nice, spacious room overlooking the main Night Market street. Things could get a bit noisy in the early night and late morning but the hotel is welcoming (as is the staff) and in good conditions.
Very nice à la carte breakfast (not having to deal with those boring standardized Breakfast buffets is a relief).

Located right in the heart of town, opposite the hawker street food and at the start of the night market, the area is buzzing. The hotel is fine, nothing brilliant, nothing terrible, most people stay for 2-4 nights. Friendly staff, clean room with a bed big enough for a threesome. Breakfast is OK.

Hotel is in the heart of everything. Start of the night market, walking distance to everything. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Rooftop bar great way to spend the end of the day watching the people walking the street while having a cold drink.

Had a great stay here. It overlooks the night Market and has views of the mountains from our balcony. Modern facilities and TV.

Some reviews mentioned the street noise but that is what you're here for, the life and bustle of life.

Only negative is that the plumbing may need some maintenance.

On the plus, the bed is comfy, the staff is very friendly and helpful. They organised a bus for our early departure and even packed a nice breakfast.
