As all the reviews seem to agree. This is a lovely place with very helpful staff, and less than 10 minutes to Plaza 25 de Mayo.
Here is the "BUT". One of the house rules is no washing clothes in the room. But they recommend...More

I stayed at Casa Verde for 2 weeks whilst attempting to learn Spanish and it is one of my favourite places I've stayed so far during 3 months of travelling. It is very convenient for the centre, only 5 mins walk to the plaza, but...More

Awesome hostel in a great location (just a short walk to the main square). The place was beautiful and clean - both the rooms and the common spaces. Hands down the best breakfast set up I've ever experienced in a hostel - there was a...More

This will be an issue for you just about everywhere in Sucre (if not Bolivia generally). I managed to succeed with a few Skype calls at Casa Verde from my room, with my computer hugging the window, but it often didn't work.
Another visitor there and I decided that the problem was more an issue of internet in Sucre rather than at Casa Verde. At certain times of the day the service everywhere gets very slow and there's some logic behind the pattern of it working and not working (like when children are let out of school) but it's a thing for sure.
Maybe another place will work better but Casa Verde is a jewel of a place to stay and I'm not too sure the internet elsewhere is going to be much better (maybe if you find a place that has it's won line). Good luck.
