This hotel is beautifully sited in the centre of town with lovely views over the lake and the square below. Views of the pretty Austrian houses with flower filled balconies were beckoning, so easy to walk out from the hotel and explore the town with lots of interesting shops. The rooms were clean and comfortable with friendly service and meals were... We stayed here on a recent bicycle trip around the Austrian lakes region and really enjoyed the stay. Clean, comfortable, quaint and the staff very friendly. We like to stay at the more regional quaint places while on holiday and this fit the bill perfectly. Would stay again. One note for consideration, some of the rooms face the square and,... More

Centrally located, the WB was easy to find and they stored our bikes securely. The rooms were typically Austrian. Everything was pretty OK except for the fact that I was woken three times in the night by the church bells striking and then from some loud individuals outside. Yes, I had my window slightly open as it was so hot...... More

I had Sirloin steak with fried potatoes, crispy onion rings mixed vegetables. Dish arrived and was covered in a gravy. It was not a sirloin steak was more like a rump steak. Vegetables and potatoes were ok. Left most of meal as gravy was overpowering everything. Hubby had Hungarian goulash and dumplings. His meat was very stringy, lots of fat... More

We were not staying here but at a rival establishment up the road! But we found this by far the best restaurant and so much so returned on three consecutive nights - by the third our charming waiter remembered us and our drinks order. But we were treated well by him even on the first night - so very full... More

Wonderful traditional Austrian hotel. Spacious room with balcony over looking the square. Breakfast of cereals, breads, meats and cheeses. Staff was wonderful. Rooms also had fridges a couch and table and chairs . The night we were there a band played traditional Austrian music in the square.. The staff let us take our wine to our room to listen on... We stayed just one night but enjoyed the hotel as it is right in the centre of town next to the church and lots of nice small shops. The rooms were nice although not large and we had a room overseeing the church. We had an excellent meal in the evening and a good breakfast. However the most praise is... More

Excellent location in the center of Christmas market. Special thanks to the owner of the hotel for great hospitality. We felt like at home. Excellent breakfast and also dinner in hotel restaurant. Recommend the typical Austrian "Wiener Schnitzel".

Called here for lunch as its situated right in the centre of St. Wolfgang. There is seating available outside but well covered if a shower passes across. They offer a varied Austrian menu - would recommend Kasespatzle €9.80 which came with a side salad. The service was great throughout - you will not be disappointed..

We were pleased with the hotel - the location was great for exploring the area on foot. There's no parking on premises, so you'll need to find another place to park, and you'll most likely need to pay for that. The rooms are clean and perfectly OK, but nothing special. The balconies are nice, overlooking the town center. The staff... More
