Detailed Reviews

Came here for 3 nights as par of a tour.
Location is very good - on a relatively quiet road at night ad within walking of he centre shopping and restaurants.
The building and facilities are generally good, if a bit old - for instance there were few plugs available in the rooms and the TVs had bad reception and no international stations.
The rooms were similar, generally good and comfortable, sometimes there was no hot water and some parts of the room was a little dusty/dirty.
Breakfast was good, but not excellent, with limited food options which are all western - no Vietnamese food. We found that the public place a the back of the hotel was frequented by a group of youths loudly playing up until midnight, so you might want to avoid the most rear rooms
Swimming pool as nice.

I stayed here on a group tour this past summer, and unfortunately this was my least favourite hotel. I know Covid has halted tourism/ caused many redundancies, but I had to change rooms as the first was simply wasn't clean, and the air con seemed to be leaking.
Little things that annoyed, like locked safes, very loose taps, and broken safety latches on the doors, could be quickly fixed.
We also happened to be staying at the same time as a large coach party, who had a monopoly on the pool and ran between rooms shrieking with no awareness as to others wanting any peace. Overall suitable for a short stay to see Angkor Wat, with a pleasant breakfast, but currently nothing special which is a real shame.

Very easy good location for local family, big space for parking and with reasonable price. not far from Lucky mall and some local restaurants... few minutes walk or take tuk tuk to night market. Close to big coffee shop in Siem Reap town.

Holy Angkor Hotel looked great in the pictures and had a good price for what was being offered. Yet do not be fulled by the older reviews. Upon arrival to Siem Riep at about 10pm at night, we walked out of the airport to find no one waiting for us. After calling the hotel, we were told that 'they forgot, and were sorry.' We had to take a tuktuk to the hotel. Almost empty, it seemed as if we were the only guests staying in the large hotel. We wanted to go out to the nightmarket area after and when asking for directions, we were given small pen drawings on a napkin instead of a proper small map of the area. We stayed only one night. The rooms were cleanish and the bed was comfortable. I probably, however, will not be staying here again.

One can take a walk from the hotel to other places of interest such as the Royal Residence and Gardens, Pub Street, Old Market, and Angkor National Museum. It also along the street with cheap eats. A number of tuktuk are parked in front of the hotel for convenience.
The service is great and the people are warm and friendly.
The hotel serves a good selection for the breakfast buffet -- Western and a few Khmer (Cambodian) dishes. However, even if their website says that the restaurant is open until 10PM, it is only open until 9:30 AM for breakfast.
I will definitely stay here again.

This was my 4th stay at this hotel. It is excellent value: well-situated in Siem Reap - close to the centre but away from the noisy pub street! The rooms are well-appointed, clean and roomy. The staff are superb - friendly, efficient and always happy to help with advice on tours, etc. The hotel serves a very good breakfast - catering for both asian and European tastes. It has a small but very adequate and clean pool - ideal for lounging. Oh, it has an elevator. I am a VERY frequent traveller and this small hotel is ideal for a stay in Siem Reap. I recommend it very highly.
